Prevue Hendryx SP850W/W Clean Life Cockatiel Cage, White,1/2"

I have a cockatiel and a parakeet in mine. They have plenty of room! The bars that came with it were cheap and are likely to break, but I've added many toys and walking beams. They love it and are completely content.

I spent a small fortune on this new enclosure for my cockatiel. I got it cuz, I wanted to bring him outside with me while the sprinkler is on...he loves to stretch his wings while bathing... And the cage provides plenty of room for full wing span. Also, I wanted him to have a playpen on the top...I mean, I had major plans for what was supposed to be a fabulous new "safe" home for my bird. But, its NOT!! Don't waste your money!! Having extensive knowledge of bird cages... I waited a little before, I made my review...to see what would last and what would Not! Well, the little tabs that attach the cage to the base of the cage...ONLY THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! BROKE each and every single little plastic tab...gone! So, basically his walls and roof are not secure. Makes me very sad...it took me several years to save up enough money to get this for my 15 year old cockatiel. And now, I can't afford a safer enclosure for him and to make matters worse...I threw his enclosure of 8 years away. :-[..I'm giving the cage one star however for the sides...it does keep seed from flying all over...just like it claims!BTW its taken my bird some time to get used to his new roomier home, but, its no good if its not safe!I'm open to any ideas as to how to replace the plastic tabs and secure the cage to the base.

I was looking for a cage with the seed catch at the bottom, for my 2 Lovebirds. This one is perfect! I received it a few days ago . . . the box was a little beat up, but the cage was not damaged. This cage is the perfect size for my two birds. The perches they provide are pretty much worthless. They are plastic, with the little cap on the end that hooks onto the wire of the cage. The plastic caps on the end bend and wouldn't hold onto the cage bar. Lucky I had wood perches in the same size - I put them in and they worked like a charm! It was easy to put together, I did it in just a few minutes. I definitely recommend this cage!

This cage is better for messy birds but it won't hold a view type birdbath due to the very high sides. Also the large door is great but the small doors where the feed and water go are way too small. Well made cage, well worth the money!

Mulch cheaper than in the retail stores, quality is good and perfect size for my cockatiel.

We have 2 cockatiels that we board, when traveling, with a pet sitter. If you need an inexpensive cage option, this one is not bad. We attach our own feeding cups because our birds would never head to the bottom of the cage to feed. Plus, the caca can fall into the cups easily. They should revisit the design. Cheap option but oddly configured

Great value! Just received the first one I’m now ordering a second one for our baby parrot. Has a very nice tray around the bottom that will easily catch any of the seed that birds normally kick around . Very satisfied along will receiving a few days before the expected day which really helped us since we were in desperate need. Now we’ll be set once we receive the second twin to the first one. Thank you much. Might be including a picture once we get the second one!

The only good thing about this cage is that it's a little wider than my other one. The only reason I didn't return it was the urgent need for a second cage.The wire used is so thin, the sides of the cage flex considerably. The cheap, plastic perches bow under the weight of a dove, and they make the sides of the cage bulge out. The thickest wire is quite thinner than thinnest on my other cage. One of the welds on the handle for the floor grate was broken. The other broke off by just looking at it. Seriously, a young child could've broken it off.How this cage could be appropriate for a cockatiel is beyond me. If you hate your bird that much, rehome it.

While there are other bird cages at a lower price point, I very munch like the slide-out bottom of the cage -- very easy to clean.

Very flimsy - wires bend easily and door doesn't close tightly because of the bending. Base and tray are very light plastic that can be easily damaged. Flared base is a nice idea to keep seeds in, but there are so many gaps all around the base and tray that lots of seeds still get out. Very over-priced for the quality!

I bought this on sale for around half price or so. It is very roomy for my parrotlet. Door is wide but the perches are plastic but can still add or change to the perch that you desire. Sometimes I have a problem with the bottom grate, it is slightly hard to remove as it gets stuck on the edges but can still be removed if you really tried.

Very cheap product, did not last one year, plastic broken and paint peeling off. Seed guard useless as it's full of holes.
