Does this case turn yellow after a while with it?

I've had mine about a year, and the sides are turning yellow. Not the back though. I didnt really notice until I took off the case.

Would I be able to paint this case?

I don't see why not. I'm sure the paint would fade over time though

Looking for one without the kickstand. this 10.99 one? assuming because the 11.99 one is showing a kickstand but not sure.
