Pocket Oxford Dictionary and Thesaurus

The dictionary is pretty cool, even though it's a bit too big, but it is full of what is promises.

This book is solid with helpful knowledge, skills and a helpful thesaurus to provide alternatives. When given lemons, make lemonade and this book will help you do this. My only negative remark about this book is to say this is no pocket book, as it's about the same size as a C5 envelope and it's thick but this is splitting hairs.

Una risorsa maneggevole e pratica per chi vuole arricchire il proprio vocabolario: a differenza del semplice Thesaurus, questo è anche dizionario, quindi riporta anche una breve definizione del termine. Di tanto in tanto si trovano piccoli suggerimenti anche su termini che spesso vengono confusi tra loro (come infer e imply). La sezione centrale è un'appendice tematica.Peccato che manchi la pronuncia.
