Is it heat resistant?

It attaches to the handle so is above the grill only when it is open, it is far enough away frim the heating elements that it dies not get hot. I have had no isuues with it. It gives good light andceady to attach.

LightAccents: how many lumens is this light?

I tried finding the lumens in the description w/o any luck but I did see where it says it does create a 6000K light beam. I then went to Google where it says that 6000K = 2800 lumens. Not sure how accurate that is but I have one of these that I use on my Weber 3 burner grill & it works great! Highly recommended!

Is this light weather resistant?

The care instructions say "Handle mount grill light is NOT weather resistant. They also say Do NOT expose grill light to wet weather. I use a grill cover, but I sometimes have to grill in the rain. The advertising and the manual are in direct contradiction.
