Josh's Frogs Animal Grade Brewer's Yeast (5 lbs)

I got this because I read up that Brewers yeast gets rid of fleas on cats. I just put a small amount in their food and mix it around. They don't even know the difference. They eat it I have noticed some difference in their scratching. And I don't get that many fleas like I used to when I comb them. It also came early

I give this to my dogs to prevent fleas. I've been using this for 2 years now. My dogs are mostly fleas free. In the heat of summer they do get a couple of fleas but not that bad. A good bath gets rid of them quickly and easily without pesticides.

Nothing at all I dislike.I'm so satisfied with this gamble, not knowing anything about it but the reviews. I don't have fruit flies, but I have goats, dogs, chickens and guinea fowl, and they all ate it mixed in their foods with nary a complaint. Even kitty ate it mixed in her raw eggs without batting an eye.And I like it too. Very well.I read one of the reviews that said it was so nasty bitter, absolutely nothing could make it patatable. Nothing could be further from the truth. Being true brewers yeast, of course, it's not sweet by any means, but I can hardly imagine the diet that could so jade a palate, that it's owner could honestly make such a jaded remark.I surely will be back for more. One could hardly find a better price for a better quantity for a better quality.Thank you so much for offering a quality product for an honest price.Do you offer larger quantities, and can you tell me the shelf life of this product, retaining high quality?

Add this to my chicken feed every day

Use it as a feed additive to give my ducks some additional niacin. Works well but for the price I've found niacin powder to be cheaper.

I am using for my animals. Just started using.. so I can't make a lightening fast judgement..Using for added nutritional value and it's supposed to repell fleas.

Knock on wood, my ducks haven't had any trouble with bumblefoot since I started mixing in a little Josh's Frogs Animal Grade Brewer's Yeast with the Scratch Feed and Layer Mash in 2020. At first, I did notice they had a preference for birdseed without too much yeast added, but I reduced it to a tablespoon of yeast per quart of birdseed, and now they gobble it up. I think it helps their immune systems fight off minor infections before they turn serious. (I'm posting this in June 2023, after 3 years of feeding Josh's Frogs to my ducks.)
