Pro-Series PS07343 1500-watt Heat Gun

I bought this to help splicing an amateur radio antenna rotator cable using heat shrink tubing. This was used in eight small control wires and on the outer cable jacket. The unit performed flawlessly. The only thing that I would like is if when the switch is in the center "off" position the fan continues to run. This cools off the tool quickly. This is common for tools costing four or five times more. I could rewire it but it is such a small issue that it isn't worth the time (and I am retired). I like the four attachments that are included, adds versatility.I think that I will try this on wet boots. After time in Viet Nam I can't stand wet clothes and boots. For this and other non stated uses one should proceed with caution and be prepared to replace what one heats with the gun.All in all I am really glad that I bought this tool. Time will tell how well it withstands the effects of time.Semper Fi

works as expected, and the attachments are just fine. I do a lot of heat shrinking, and other paint stripping. Works evenly and i have had no issues.

It works like a champ. Heats up quickly and cools down fast. Plastic body and overall construction is solid. Great buy for the money.

This heat gun was great while it lasted but after 4 months of very occasional use (less than once a week, on and off for a few hours) it made a loud noise, burned out and died. I'll be buying a better quality replacement.

This p.o.c. burned out after only a few hours of (not constant) use.DO NOT BUY IT.And - it's only returnable for 30 days. Guess when mine burned out - day # 35.

Great for waxing canvas and leather. Paid for itself almost immediately.
