It works great in dispersing steam away from walls and cabinets and it looks like a smoke breathing dragon. Fun!

This little guy makes me smile every time I use him. I have a 6 quart Instant pot and it fits. Not the best fit mind you, but it will stay on, and comes off easily. It does the job of directing the steam away from my cabinets. For the first fit, heat it up in hot or boiling water then press it on the steam vent firmly and let it cool. It is possible to put in too deep. Make sure the steam vent can wiggle a bit and it should be fine.

It's also super easy to clean. (I figure it steam-cleans itself on the inside) So after cooking and it cools off a bit, I just rinse it off, and it's good to go for the next use. No scrubbing required! Or I toss the thing into the dishwasher on the top rack.Another thing I appreciate is its wide compatibility. I have the Instant Pot DUO 6 qt, and it fits perfectly on the valve. Installing it is a breeze; you just place the diverter before cooking, and when the cooking is done, simply rotate it to release the pressure. Simple, straightforward, and effective.Now, I must admit, at first, I was worried about the fit because it seemed a bit snug. But the user guide was helpful— I soaked it in hot water for about 20 seconds to soften it (I used my electric kettle.) And lo and behold, it worked like a charm! It fit like a glove on my Instant Pot.The Dragon Steam Release Diverter is an excellent addition to my Instant Pot accessories. It's fun! I suppose it enhances safety by diverting the steam away from me, but honestly the kid in me just likes watching the dragon head spew steam as I imagine some poor knight boiling inside his armor. Anyway, If you're looking for a steam diverter that does the job flawlessly, this is the one to get. Highly recommended!

Disappointed in this purchase. I have a different one and it works great! This is cool looking but doesn't stay in place when steam is released from instant pot. Now used as finger puppet or sits on my desk for fun lol !

The fit is very loose. If I bump it it will come off. Overall it still works and is a fun addition. Just wish it fit better.

This is perfect for the instant pot release. I used to use a cup to divert the steam. But now the dragon does the job! I look forward to opening the pressure to watch the dragon spew the steam!

It's really cute, ibjust wish it would function better. I installed it on my pressure cooker, and it was too heavy for it, that it slighty flops to the side and keeps the valve open. I hadn't realized it until I walked back into the kitchen several minutes later, and realized the steam was being released, and it never came to pressure.After fixing it, and the cooking was finally done, some steam released through the mouth, but the rest was building up causing condensation to drip through the bottom of it and causing a mess.Wish I could return, but I waited too long to use it and my return window closed. Total waste of money.

Add is misleading. Does NOT work on Lux version. Is way too small. Will be returning.
