YOO.MEE Magic Rain Shower Heads with LED Mirror Display Water Gallon and Water Temperature for Water Saving, Energy Saving

I bought two of these, one for my guest shower and one for the bathroom that the kids share. We've been trying to reduce water consumption, and I loved the idea of a running total, even if it was just an estimate. The installation was just as easy as any other showerhead and they both seemed to work great when installed. After about six months, I noticed the one in the guest shower wasn't turning on electrically (water still came out, but the display was dead). I checked the one in the kids shower, and found it in exactly the same state. Now I have two showerheads that work fine for showers, but have no working display.I love the concept behind this product, but it would seem that too many costs were cut in the development process and these are at best a temporary solution. They probably would have lasted longer if they had a battery sealed inside vs. the seemingly low reliability turbine mechanism that makes these water-powered.I'd avoid these and wait for a higher quality version to be developed.

I've had three of these over the last few years now, and I love them, however, I generally seem to get about 12-14 months out of them. Until they die, they're fantastic to keep an eye on how much water you're consuming, and it's really nice to see that water is to the temp you want before either scolding yourself, or getting that bloody cold shock!

this wide-spray rain head provides enough water spray to keep you drenched in water instead of the smaller heads which provide isolated coverage. the gallon usage is handy to know how much water is used. at first I was hoping for a 50/50 split on showing gallons used vs the temp, but the color coded head (blue, green, red) is sufficient to guage the water temp. would buy this again.

It worked great for a while, then it stopped showing the temp. No instructions on how to clean it.

This worked flawlessly for the first few weeks. Sadly, after that you needed a TON of water pressure to get the lights and numbers to read. Not worth the money to replace with a new one.

This did the job well until this weekend when it randomly stopped working after 6 months. I’ll look if I can get a replacement from the manufacturer but am not keeping my hopes up. I also wish it’d be possible to change the temperature to Celsius and show temperature only (not alternate with water usage).

I am amazed at the difference this shower head has made in terms of water usage. I used to spend 10-15 minutes in the shower consuming around 15 gallons of water. Now with the display shining on my face I am using 2 to 3 gallons per shower. It works great. Installing it was a bit tricky because the tightening screw is round with only two edges but was not too difficult once you had a simple set of pliers. I simply love it and will recommend it to everyone.

Arrived on time and performs as advertised. Easy install and come packaged with teflon tape. Works well with my Yoo Mee hand held.
