I live in a household of large people (250+lbs) and it's good. Just re-fluff and it returns to original size. The company will also send more fill upon request.

How tall is the seat from the ground? I assume the height includes the chairback?

It depends on the size. Most around 2 1/2"'- 3' from the ground.

How high is the pillow back rest for the nest?

The back and neck support is around 12" tall or tall depending on the size.

Has anyone found a good alternative cover option on Amazon that is more exciting and colorful than what cordaroy offers?
