Would this fit a woman that wears a size dress?

I wear anything from a 12-18 depending the style/sizing guide of dress, and I had fairly long tails going down my back when I wore it. I'm not sure this answers your question since you didn't list a dress size.

Can this be sewn directly onto the dress?

Mine was simply hot glued onto the ribbon, but it had a mesh type backing and it peeled the first time I used it, so I would guess it would be pretty easy to peal up and then sew/tack down. The actual quality is pretty good for the price and it is VERY shinny. I added pictures to my review of this product so those might help?

I have a soft white dress and was wondering which would fit best... an off white belt? Or white?

Dear, I suggest you choose the white belt. If you have tried and found it inappropriate, you can change it to off white.

Will it fit a 170lb woman’s waist?

It will fit as the ribbon is quite long and intended to hang a bit. Keep in mind, the sparkling part is only in the front and doesn’t wrap around.

Not sure why it says frequently returned because it's Beautiful!!!!!

Absolutely gorgeous! I was concerned with the fact that it was flagged frequently returned.. however it's beautiful and extremely well made. I didn't have any problems with it slipping.It comes as one piece in a box. It's gorgeous! If you were on the edge.. do it! You won't regret it!!! For the money it's perfectly gorgeous! And well made. It added the perfect amount of sparkles to my dress.

Words cannot explain how absolutely beautiful this belt is; it is very good quality, and it sparkles brightly. I would recommend anyone looking for something to brighten up an outfight to get this, I am absolutly in love with this

Snagged my dress

Beautiful belt but it snagged my dress terribly...so much so that I'll have to get the dress altered a bit to fix the snags. I would recommend the belt if your dress is not lace or an easily snaggable material

pretty, cheap price

This was fun. I liked the extra bling as the mother of the groom. I used a safety pin to connect it where I wanted it to be on the front, because it is on a slipper satin ribbon. It was perfect for what I needed.Also, I might use it as a headband if I have a disco or 1920's family party in the future. It brings a lot of bling, so I actually didn't need shiny shoes that I got. But, it worked well.

Beautiful

It just made my dress even more beautiful and elegant. Loved this belt. You just have to make sure to tighten it up as the strings are satin and may come undone.
