I use it for airsoft.
I use this for Airsoft. We often deal with 400 fps to 500 fps 6mm plastic BB.I was in a game where a young inexperience player shot me at point blank range with his 400 fps Airsoft Gun and hit right on the side of the lens. I could say I felt the impact / shock. However No damage to the lens or my eye. The impact was great enough to pop the nose bridge clips but easily pushed back into place. Will worth the money. A cheap knockoff or those 30 dollars ones would easy break or worst simply allow the bb to go right through it.

Ugly, fog easy, but they get the job done
They look stupid on me, they fog up endlessly without some kind of anti-fog agent, but they're not unbearably uncomfortable and they will stop a .22 round traveling at 650 ft/s. I've got a big ol' dome (I mean seriously, it's hard to find hats that fit) and these are a tad tight on me, but they probably fit 95% of people comfortably. I use them at the range and I won't go back to my old safety glasses. Another plus is they come with an extra set of lenses; one set clear and one tinted. If they didn't fog without QuickSpit Antifog or some other crap treating them they'd be perfect.

Love them.
It's a pair of ESS (Made by Oakley), what's not to like, better than the Revision Brand the military gives us. They're lightweight and lenses are fast to change. The PX wanted 200 bucks for them but Amazon had them for 80 bucks cheaper. No brainer there.

Nice fit that won't slide off your face on a hot sweaty day
very nice fit and you eyes feel protected all around. I used the crossbow before this and I prefer the rollbar as the full frame feels more sturdy

Poor quality, terrible customer service
I was introduced to ESS in the military. I have many ESS sunglasses and was a real fan... for a while. Many of the models I've acquired in recent years do not hold up. The nose piece falls off and will not stay reattached with any glue or epoxy I've tried. Customer service has been very poor since Oakley took over. They always find an excuse not to stand behind the product. ESS used to be a great product with great service, but not anymore.

Nose guard uncomfortable
I really wanted to love these! Especially when I went to the field. The nose guards are simply molded into the frame which gets uncomfortable after worn for an extended period of time. I’ve seen some with a rubber type nose guard that I definitely keep an eye out for... did you see what I did there.. keep an EYE out... heehee.. ... shutup!

They also make great chew toys for your dogs
This is my 3rd pair of these. They last through deployments and they stay on your face even when low crawling. The lenses can take a beating before they are too scratched to use. They also make great chew toys for your dogs...thus my 3rd pair...
