I purchased this CPAP mask because I had opted for the full face mask through my insurance. However, after months of trying to adjust to it, I realized that my issue wasn't the machine, it was the mask that I chose. I decided to give this mask a try to see if it would make a difference and it did. With these items, it's really on personal comfort and preference, so the best thing would be to make sure you can identify what you really want during your sleep studies. However, for anyone wanting a replacement and/or trying the different mask out, this one is great. It comes fully sealed just like the original mask that I got from my insurance company.Some things I noticed with this type of mask for those of you switching from the full mask to the nasal pillow:You have to learn to breathe through the mask. This was weird for me because I tend to exhale through my mouth and in through my nose. However, if you open your mouth with this type of mask air seems to rush in just as what happens when you take off the full mask. It took some getting use to but honestly, I like breathing just through the nasal pillows -- I don't wake up feeling dehydrated even though my model has the humidifying option.If you have allergies, which I do, keep your full mask around just in case. There are some days that I am so congested that breathing through this type of mask is nearly impossible. This was my consideration for why I chose the full mask originally, but after some allergy treatments decided to give this one a try. This mask works great if you are able to breath through your nose without obstruction. This may be obvious to some, especially if you have allergy issues, but it didn't occur to me until my sleep studies since at that time I has severely congested.

i'm relatively new to CPAP.this is the 3rd mask i've tried: airfit (pillow), mirage fx (nasal), and now these.i've only used these a couple of nights so far. and while i like them better than the previous two masks i've tried, they aren't likely going to be my every nighters.the good -- once you fit 'em and get the seal right (took me a few tries to get the positioning correct) they work well. first night with a new mask i've always spiked my AHI events but by night 2 things settled down to a reasonable level.- they're small, light, and i can wear my glasses with them to read- in the same vein, i don't look like a low rent Darth Vader when i wear it (as i do with the Mirage)- the straps seem to hold things in place better than my AirFitsthe annoying (not really "bad")- the angle of the pillows in my nostrils is a bit awkward- after 2 nights, my nostrils were irritated and sore. the same thing happened when i tried the AirFit pillows so it isn't necessarily unique to this mask. but the angle these fit in my nose (tried all 3 pillow sizes) puts the irritation a bit deeper.overall -these will likely be my "backups", and possibly my travel mask. i'll give them a few more nights to see if my nostrils adjust (but they really didn't with the AirFits after 2 weeks, so not holding out hope) but i may be going back to the mirage nasal mask (which means no glasses for reading).

From the description I thought this was the type with the little "nasal pillow" that sits below your nose. Turns out this one covers the entire nose. There's no picture in the listing to actually show you what it looks like. You do however get a good look at the BAG it's in. Tried it anyway and after a few months opted for a different type. This one: Philips Respironics DreamWear Nasal CPAP Mask -----FITPACK, UPC 694157857886.After several nights, this new one (UPC 694157857886) is my favorite mask so far.

I am very satisfied with this style mask. I didn't think I could get used to it at first trying it on. Seven hours later, I awakened and was surprised to have not awakened once during the night to adjust it or change sides like the old mask, because I am a side sleeper. The port swivels effortlessly to me, but I think one must keep the hose heightened above you like I do for it to be effective.

Worked great to replace my old full face mask. For the last week been sleeping great and the pillows allow sleeping on side. Comfortable. Came with complete headgear and three sizes of nasal pillows. Also included is a short hose.

Only had it a few days and am wrestling with the right adjustments/fitting to ensure no leaks. It comes with three sizes of pillows so you can experiment and pick the best for you.It seems a bit expensive but it is a good quality prodct.

Item arrived when it was supposed to, packages in OEM packaging, obviously brand new and works exactly as it is supposed to. Came with 3 nose sizes so you can see what works best for you.Can't complain about something that wors as is intended.
