No dust easy clean happy momma
1000000% worth it. The first time set up kit came with everything I needed. My 13 year old cat got upper respitory infection from the pound when she was a kitten and has had breathing issues her whole life. This system is sooooooo much better for her breathing because there is no dust. She use to go into her litter box and sneeze a bunch but doesn't have that issue anymore. And the cleanliness!!! Such an improvement! No more litter tracked EVERYWHERE, just the occasional pellet or two right next to the box that i just scoop up and toss. The pee really does separate cleanly and the poop is so much easier to scoop. The smell is 1000% times better. Everything about it is great, I am so happy I made the switch. It use to be such an ordeal to keep the litter box clean and now it is so so much better and better for kitty.

One year later and STILL my favorite litter box ever. GREAT GREAT PRODUCT! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND
1 YEAR+ UPDATE This is by FAR my favorite litter box i've ever had, ever. We have two cats and have been using this box since they were pretty young kittens. They are also outdoor cats so they do go outside a lot (i think it is their preference, but they DO need to go inside sometimes) Due to the fairly infrequent uset I literally hardly ever have to do anything with it. I scoop poo every now and then, and if it starts to smell (which is rare) I'll change the pad below. It does the best job out of any product I've ever used in keeping the ammonia odor to nearly nothing. The litter lasts pretty much forever. It does stick to the poos so over time you will lose litter volume, I just add a bit more when needed. I've only used maybe 3 refill bags in a year, and replace the pads every couple months. I am pretty sensitive to the ammonia/pee odor and would be very bothered it it got stinky, but it just doesn't happen very quickly. It's really shocking to me how little maintenance is required for this box. Obviously if my cats were fully indoors they would use it more regularly and my upkeep would be a bit more, but honestly I believe it would still be superior to any other typical litter. I especially love that the litter does not track all over the place. you might get a couple nuggets immediately outside of the box but it's SO much better than regular sand-like litter that goes all over The only 1 worry I do have is that with two dogs that occasionally drag out some "kitty roca" likely ingest some pellets in the process. It's been a year now, and it does not happen frequently... but I have worried that it could potentially cause issues, though no problems as of yet. Pretty sure they are not meant to be ingested - but my dogs are stupid (also adorable) and cannot resist an occasional kitty poo snack. Original Review: I have been using this system with our two new kittens for about 2 weeks and so far it has been great. I have had many cats over the years and have tried many styles of litter boxes, this one is my favorite. I was afraid it was a bit gimmicky and that the young kittens would not take to the pellet litter. Luckily they went straight to it and have had not problems (yay) It is a bit odd to clean the poo out, scooping is just a bit different than it is with most litter, but I've had no problems. The urine smell is non-existent. I love that. even when you scoop there is no ammonia smell. To those that complain about the poo odor.. Yeah, there is a poo odor immediately after my cats drop a deuce, but I have not had a problem with the odor lingering for long. we have a second litter box in the basement that is a more traditional style, and the same issue exists there so its not like the poo doesn't smell when they use other litter. dusting a poo with sand does not encapsulate the stink. Great product. very happy with purchase. love that my floor doesn't feel gritty or dirty from the sand style litter making it's way out of the box. Some of the pellets have made it out, but not many, and they are easy enough to sweep up quickly, and don't track around.

Get it!!! Like NOW! This lives up to the hype! Your life will be easier!
Go buy this! Do it NOW! I was hesitant to purchasing because I thought “hmmm will kitty use it?” “Hmmm will it be worth the money?” So my main concerns were would my cat adjust and will it be worth it. As far as kitty adjusting I semi-followed the acclimation instructions provided. I left the old litter box dirty and put the breeze box close by. I also took a turd from her old box and threw it in the new box to encourage her. So she peed in the box within a day. But no poops. The old box (which I stopped cleaning after adding the breeze) kept getting used regularly but not the new. A few random pees but no poops. So after about a week I added in some pinto beans (more on that below) and then took her old box away completely and crossed my fingers she’d use the breeze box for poops and pees. Well she did! Without the old box she went right to the breeze, no accidents or poops in random places like some reviews mentioned during transition. Ok so pinto beans. I read some other reviews saying this was a good alternative to the pellets. I didn’t really try the pellets by themselves so don’t know. But the pellets with the pinto beans mixed in seems good. No problems for me. I will say if you chose to only use pellets it’s kinda skimpy with the one bag they give you. Like your cat might feel they don’t have enough to scratch around with. Which is why I went ahead and added beans in early on. My cat seems to like them fine. So pros of this system I’ve seen so far are 1) really this does not smell. Far less smelly than the old box. And I should note that I didn’t change the pad right away. I waited about a week and a half because the first few days she really wasn’t using it. 2) Waaay less messy. No tiny trails of litter! My old regular litter box I had in a big plastic tote type container that she would jump in and out of to use simply to prevent litter tracking, and a rug outside the box to catch litter. It still made a mess. A spare pellet or bean might escape this box like once every three days and that’s it! 3) space saving! I’ve eliminated the need for the tote to contain litter and I don’t need the rug anymore either. So an overall much smaller footprint. 4) easier! Cleaning is really just a scoop a day now for me. She poops once a day I scoop it out. The pee pad only needs once a week changing. That’s far less work to me. This weirdly actually feels fun to clean now. Not like messy crumbs of litter half clumped falling everywhere like I used to deal with. As far as pee pad goes, I haven’t had to rotate the tray, I haven’t had pee spill over the side. No issues. Change the pad snd it’s maintenance free for a week. Cons... I really can’t think of any other than a cost standpoint. Although truly I don’t know if this will end up being any more expensive in the long run. The pee pads last long, even though they are slightly pricey. I’ve read a lot of reviews stating to buy the amazon brand pads which I plan to after I run out of the starter pack. With pinto beans instead of pellets that’s really super cheap. So besides the cost of the box initially I don’t think this is going to be much more expensive than buying traditional litter. Also FYI I discovered you can get a coupon on tidy cat breeze website for seven bucks off so something to keep in mind... didn’t find this out until after I bought mine but I don’t even care because it’s already made life way easier. So just go buy it. It’s worth it I promise.

👍 Positive: • Litter system that does not use regular clumping cat litter • Tray for adding urine pad that can be changed weekly 👎 Negative: • Not a regularly sold item in Germany so it is expensive 👤 Good For: • Those who do not like clumping cat litter • Has a dedicated urine tray in which you can remove the sheet and get a sample to be checked by the vet easily. I have 2 Scottish Fold cat which I brought over from Japan when I started working in Germany. In Japan a very similar litter system is found but uses a different completely different type of litter, which I prefer over zeolite litter. However the system is very convenient when needing to take urine sample. It is too bad it is not sold as a regular item here in Europe as it is expensive to import from USA.

Here goes - this may be a long post but please persevere! This has to be the best litter system ever! I have, over the last 3/4 years spent hundreds on different litter systems for our Bengal, I even tried the automatic litter system at £130 and threw it away after only a couple of months. He refused to use anything other than a puppy training pad in a litter tray because of previous kidney-related health issues, and he was the first one to use this tray. He is now, after just a few weeks, properly litter-trained again. The system is so easy to use - I change the pads daily (I have 2 very large breed cats and 2 smaller breed cats) and the trays are washed out and litter completely changed once every 3-4 weeks. I had to clean out other trays/systems every 2/3 days previously. I will add though that I find the pads and pellets that come with the system very expensive. I use Amazon Basics pads at £9 for 40 (the refills for the system are a very costly £10 for 4) and there is very little difference in them. I also use a wood pellet (around £15 for a 30 litre bag) instead of the pellets that comes with the system (priced around £25 for a very small bag that will fill 1 litter tray once). Initially using the pads and litter provided, I found that after 3/4 days they stopped using the tray because they could smell the dirty litter. It does eventually dissolve but takes ages. The wood litter when wet turns to sawdust and falls through to the tray beneath and so every time they go to the toilet it is clean. Obviously poop is scooped when they do it, or as soon after as we can I would also say that you need an old paintbrush or similar to actually clean the seive tray as bits go tend to get stuck. It may seem an expensive system but honestly after the initial cost, and especially if you convert to the other pads and wood pellets, you will not look back.
