Mopar Fuel/Water Separator Filter Kit (68197867AB)

Was exact match for 2018 Ram diesel and engine started after two tries. Had ordered one from another source and that one would not work, the only difference I could see the other was an AA version, this is AB.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I have purchased two of these separators that did not flow fuel like other reviews have stated. My suspicion is that these are NOT oem filters and seller is in no way affiliated with Mopar.

Great factory product

Never owned a vehicle where you needed to buy the manufactures filters. Unless you installed a custom filtration system you need this filter. I don't know why but the cheaper ones leak, come loose or don't fit at all. Some have said they collapse. Due to the design of the filter, I have not had good luck with the knock offs. Issue for me is the inner o-ring. You need to hold pressure against the filter while turning. I cross threaded the base once and had to replace it. That is why I just buy these now. Obviously the fit is perfect on the OEM filters.

The filter I received was correct. I purchased an incorrect one from a different source. The part number and packaging was the same but the stem was too short. The incorrect one was Rev D. The correct one will be Rev E

Do not purchase this item. Even though it came in mopar packaging it was a knock off. Truck would not continue to run with this filter installed. I have pictures showing the difference between this item & the factory item. The top item is the knockoff. It has a solid plug in the center not 3 openings

Good quality, easy to put on , no leaks so far. We will be ordering for another truck.
