Light, Warm, and Going Strong for 2 years.
The long sleeve shirt is impressively warm for how lightweight it feels, making it ideal for layering without bulk. The fit is a bit loose on my 5'10", 180 lb frame, but still extremely comfortable. And the socks? Bonus points all day—they’re ridiculously comfortable, warm, and well-made.Pros:✅ Deceptively Warm Shirt – Lightweight feel with heavyweight warmth✅ Excellent for Layering – Perfect for work or motorcycle rides✅ Top-Tier Socks – A standout part of the set✅ Breathable & Soft Merino Wool – Regulates temperature wellCons:❌ A Bit Loose – Could be more fitted, but still cozyFinal Thoughts:This set is a must-have for cold weather, with a shockingly warm shirt and socks that steal the show. Ideal for working outdoors, winter riding, or daily layering.

Fit
I’m a 5’4”, size 14, XL size woman and I prefer to wear 30” tunic length tops. I couldn’t find women’s, merino base layer tunics, in that length for any price! I decided to try a men’s Large and after reading the reviews that stated these shirts are long and reading a review that said the sleeves ran a little short, I ordered this shirt. It is beautiful! It’s butter soft, well made, not scratchy and most importantly it fits! The shoulders and arms are roomy, not baggy. The arm length is a little long on me, as expected, but not too long. The torso length is perfect!!!! It falls just below my hips! It’s kind of snug in the hips, but that’s to be expected in a man’s size and I’m a woman with big hips. I can live with that. I will be ordering a half zip on the same size ASAP!If you’re a medium to large size woman, who prefers tunic length base layers, but can’t find one in women’s sizes, buy this shirt. It’s worth every penny!Well done!!!!Update:I put the sweater through a rinse cycle and reshaped the bottom part it to make it drape around my hips. That worked perfectly! I read a review that stated they thought the sweater had some percentage of spandex. I disagree, because, I would have been unable to reshape the sweater so easily if it contained anything like that. I just wanted to mention that. Thanks for an absolutely amazing piece of clothing!

Thinner than I expected, but it's becoming a favorite
I was a little surprised by how lightweight this item was - a little too lightweight to be classed as a thermal shirt - but it's everything I've come to expect from this brand: soft, warm, well made and durable. The color (pale coral) is very attractive - I suppose this is where I should mention that I am female - and quite versatile. Dark clothing will show through, so if I wear it with dark trousers, I have to tuck it in. Not a big deal, but I thought I ought to mention it all the same. I didn't wear it much last winter, but it became one of my 'first picks' this spring.Care: I wash all my woolens by machine (I have an impellor washer), in cool or warm water - not hot - and in a mesh bag. I use standard laundry detergent, no need for fabric softeners, and I line dry. Ironing or steaming isn't necessary, and they come out just fine.I first found this brand on Amazon, and then ordered a few pieces directly from the manufacturer. I wouldn't recommend this - they do a poor job of inventory tracking and sell products they don't have in stock. Amazon has no such issues, so I'm back to buying through Amazon again. This isn't meant to slam the manufacturer - they make a fine product, but order fulfillment just doesn't seem to be their strong suit.As for price, this piece is comparable to a lightweight wool or cashmere sweater - a bit more casual, but I use them in much the same way - and it costs less than my least expensive sweaters. So I would have to say it's a very good value for the money. I think I have four, maybe five, of these shirts, and I wouldn't keep coming back if I didn't think they were worth it.
