I specifically needed a backpack with a lunch box compartment that also had a clamshell space for a larger laptop and a larger size water bottle holder... When I properly take the time to fold up and then roll tight my raincoat and zip up putty they fit perfectly in the lunch box compartment. This means my heavy unbreathable raincoat is suddenly not something I have to carry and constantly shift from arm to arm or tie to my bag and hope isn't going to be stolen on the train... I'm surprised at how much space is displaced inside the backpack although I've never had a lunch box backpack before, that said there's still tons of room and a little bit of space underneath for a couple of microwave Rice pouches... I love the amount of sleeves for my laptop and my tablet and my headphones that don't fold flat which I kind of pull up towards the top of the bag and several cords all in the laptops space... I've put cold drinks and body wipes and hydration packs and little first aid kits and toothbrush and paste and extra socks and a set of work clothes and a silverware set hahaha honestly the list goes on this thing gets heavy when it gets really packed full! The aforementioned water bottle has a handle at the top that I stick the side strap through and lock it down so that it doesn't go flying off when I swing my bag up onto my shoulder if I'm rushing to get off the train... It all seems pretty durable and I haven't had any trouble with any of the straps sewn on to the bag or the zipper yet... It's rained here in Oregon and I haven't had any trouble with anything getting wet inside the bag... I've gotten several compliments on the cute pink trim... Honestly it's an incredibly spacious and versatile bag for the price and while not everything ends up having the same quality from bag to bag I ended up with a good one instead of a bad one so I'm quite pleased... Honestly the only complaint I have about this bag whatsoever is beast trap that goes across the chest. Rotflmao!!! om effing g... It is not adjustable up and down and it is very unfortunately situated in a way that makes my boobs look absolutely absurd and I cannot use the across the chest strap... There is no waist strap option otherwise. So sometimes I end up hooking my thumbs in the straps and walking that way and again the bag has not torn where the straps are sewn in... I think the larger size bag does not have the lunch box compartment which is kind of a bummer... Definitely would recommend!

Good bag for the money! As long as you put your lunch/snack in a container that fits within the pouch, you will have no issue with smashed food. Loving all the pockets and zippers.

The bag is very spacious has lots of spots for organizing. Nice built in lunch bag. However, would have been nicer if it had a stability for the lunch box part to keep things from crushing your food.

This backpack is great if you needing to carry a lot of stuff and want it to be condensed into one bag! I'm a student attending college and majoring in dance; I always have a TON of stuff I need to haul with me for the day. I was fed up with carrying three different bags for my lunch, dance shoes, and school supplies. This bag has been one of the best purchases I made to-date as a student! The top pocket has room for textbooks (I don't have a lot of thick textbooks though), notebooks, and your laptop. It has a laptop pocket, another pocket on the other side, and a lot of room in-between. The second pocket from there is a very large pocket that you can fit lots of things in. I fit three pairs of dance shoes in small bags in this pocket and it works great! I also occasionally fit various items of clothes in there pretty easily too. There's also a large pocket on the side in this section too that I hardly use, but it's nice that there is an option to use it. There is also a USB cable in this pocket to connect a charging port too so you can charge your phone outside the backpack. The third pocket is smaller, and contains a zipper pocket. I usually keep my laptop charger and a pouch with various school supplies in it. The fourth pocket, the one at the very front, is the smallest and contains a lot of smaller pockets to keep pencils in, as well as other miscellaneous items. I usually have my pencils, chap stick, wallet, and keys in this pocket. The most amazing feature is the lower front pocket that is the cooler pocket for your lunch. This pocket extends underneath the rest of the backpack and is very roomy for a lot of items. I have noticed that sometimes the cooler packs I put in there make other items in my backpack cold, but it's a pretty trivial complaint. I just worry sometimes if it negatively affects my dance shoes. This is an AMAZING feature of this backpack though and it is seriously such a lifesaver. The backpack also contains other random pockets on the side and on the portion that sits on your back. I am amazed of how many pockets and storage there are! I've had this backpack for almost two years and it's the best backpack I've ever had. The shoulder straps are so supportive and made of thick material. There are also buckles that come across the front of your torso that you can buckle that really help take the load off of your back too. The handle on the front is reinforced and very durable. The only wear on the backpack that I've noticed is that the plastic/rubber handle on the front has started to crack, but the braided metal section is still in-tact. I would totally recommend this backpack to anyone who wants to be able to carry all of their stuff in one comprehensible bag.

Seriously this is the best $43 dollars you will ever spend. I never write reviews on things but with how excellent this product is I felt I had to. The cooled compartment is very expandable and will easily be able to fit multiple containers and a few cans. There are also tons of different compartments that make organization easy. As a college student that needs to bring everything with me on campus for the day this backpack over delivers. I was able to easily pack 14 days worth of travel in this bag and stow it on an airplane with ease. I was initially concerned about durability due to the low cost, but I have a friend who has had this bag for over 3 years with 0 issues. If you need a backpack BUY THIS

The space and compartments in the bag are spacious. The cooler compartment doesn't keep anything cold (hence the 3 stars)

Love the design, plenty of storage and appears to be well made.

I purchased this backpack for a work bag. I work 12 hour shifts so pack more food and other items than most. The size, fabric and zips on this bag are of good quality. My only gripe with this backpack is because of its size it really needs some solidity. The edges of the bag should be more solid to prevent the bag from sagging in the middle and the food storage space should have an optional support to hold items up inside the bag space when the food section is empty. Having to lay the bag down to pack the food section is not ideal.
