This was a replacement hose for the junk that came with my DR leaf vacuum. This hose is on the 4th year and still going strong! I mow 3 acres of bermuda grass several times a year and the DR hose was done after one season.

Material is as heavy as original leaf vacuum hose. Good price, quick ship. Yellow striping matches my Cub Cadet, lol. Fit is tight to slip over flange fitting. Tip: installing counterclockwise will stretch the wire reinforcement for installation. Counterclockwise would make it tighter.

Seller should Clearly state that the hose is measured at fully stretched length , which may not allow intended application of the hose especially when used as a flexible lawn leaf collection hose on a vacuum system as advertised as 10 ft. and approx. $20 /ft. ! I received 7.5 ft. of hose in relaxed state.However, the hose material does appear to be very well constructed and heavier duty than the factory crap that was included with my D.R. lawn vacuum system which tore within the first hr. of use !!!

I use this for a dr tow behind leaf vac. Works great so far much better than the hose that came with the leaf vac. Hope it holds up. The dr hose kept tearing because it was to stiff...the only thing I didn’t like was the price..

Great product for my use. Was excited it came 2 days early allowing me to finish my leafs early.

Ok, so I used this hose on my DR leaf vacuum with less than positive results. 1st not puncture resistant, 2nd if wet leaves are mixed with dirt this hose clogs fast. Once the mud sticks to the inside it gets very heavy and sags down, in my case it scraped the ground and wore a hole through the side. 3rd not clear, once you get a clog it is very difficult to find the obstruction to clear it. I found myself fighting with this hose to the point of frustration. I bought this because it was much cheaper than others I found on Amazon. In the end I had to purchase the thick clear hose you will find here on Amazon. So I'm my experience, if you use your leaf vacuum to pick up damp leaves like I do (to avoid breathing in the fine dirt and dust) this hose is not for you. If you use your machine for light grass and light leaf litter it will be fine.

Product was as advertised, however, the reviews said this would be a good substitute. It is not as thick as the original. I would be surprised if this lasts a full season
