Easy peasy
You can have both hands full of heavy grocery bags and still apply downward pressure to open the door. My arthritic hands were fixed surgically; but if I have more problems, these would still be easier than turning a knob. I've put them on bedroom, bath, exterior, and cellar doors. I like the muted look of this particular finish.

When purchased, wasn't aware that this was not made for entry door. Sturdy and quality is good

These are lovely doorknobs at a fair price
These doorknobs look great with many decor styles and really add character to my vintagey, rustic pine doors without breaking the bank. They are simple to install, easy to open and lock, and I like that they can be opened from the outside with a pin type key (comes with each doorknob). That way my kids cannot lock themselves in their rooms, intentionally or not!The seller was straightforward and everything arrived as promised, quickly and cleanly.
