So much more stable than methocel and pretty much does the same thing. I wish it came with directions, but I'm smart and i have a background in chemistry so IFigured it out

It does not come in a box, just a large plastic bag. It's fine, I use it to make hair gel and cut down on the plastic jars and/or bottles that hair gel comes in. You can make your own: water and Carbopol 940. The more Carbopol the thicker it is. Add a few drops of Triethanolamine to make it slippery. Use a hand blender. NEVER use the blender, or anything else used to make the hair gel, with food. Learned this from a chemist teaching a class on Youtube. Super nice guy, lives in California, called him and spoke to him on phone for about 45 minutes.

It works well, but i had to hunt and peck for the company site as well as some semblance of information as to how to use it. As a first time user, it would have been more helpful to have some sort of insert or cheap slip of paper with msds etc. It works well, better than expected.
