Excellent tool for hands-on learning!
My kids and I are having so much fun learning with this kit! We are a homeschooling family and I have a 14 year old who LOVES all things science. She has taken an interest in Chemistry since the age of 8, and this kit has really helped me make the subject more hands-on for her. As soon as it arrived she was putting together molecules and explaining things to her 5 year-old brother!The kit comes in a sturdy plastic sectioned box to keep the pieces organized. There are 59 atoms and 62 links in assorted sizes, so you can even gain an understanding of the different kinds of bonds. The pieces fit together tightly so your molecules won't fall apart, and there's a tool to make removing the links easier.As a parent I think it's awesome that even my 5 year old is gaining an understanding of life at the molecular level! Desperate science student
I had the misfortune of having to take more science classes than my brain could handle. I felt like I was way in over my head. I just needed something that gave me a visual besides just on pictures. I bought this product, and it didn't miraculously get science, but I did get easier. It's a well made product. That's simple but gets the idea across.

Got a great price and this will really help my 11 year old son understand atoms. Seeing it physically is so much better then in a book.
