SUPER for my Kindle 8.9 HDX!!!!
I grew up with the KJV. I downloaded some other Bibles because I was writing a religion paper. One was the English Standard Version, which I'd never even heard of before. It just doesn't sound like the Word of God in today's English. Now, to the recurring complaint of not knowing the book you are in and problems searching...I started to get frustrated at first with not knowing what book I was in. That was until I found an interactive table of contents (best way I can describe it) just a swipe away on the left hand side of my screen. When you opened this scrolling, collapsible TOC, it was at the book and chapter you were in and the square with the chapter number on it was lighter than the rest. Confused yet by what I am sure is a bad description? If you were to collapse all of the books, at the top of this TOC was a link for Old Testament and New Testament. Or you could scroll down and the was the titles of all the books, in order, of course. When you get too the book you want, you can click on it and it expands to list all of the chapters. The chapters don't expand but the link takes you right to the b beginning of the chapter. You could use one of the two TOCs at the beginning. One is just the book names that link to that book. The other TOC has chapter numbers as well as book name.Another nice thing is that all the verses start on a new line so you don't have to try to decipher where one verse ended and the next began.I haven't opened this version in one of my older Kindle, but there has got to be a way to get to this TOC on a non-touch Kindle.Anyway, I found this to be the best KJV for Kindle. I found it very easy to scroll through the TOC on the side and jump from book to book.

Just What I Needed for My Studies on The Kindle
I have the Print Version of the NIV Study Bible, but as a new Kindle User - getting away from Dead Tree Books is a Priority for me.I wished to return to the KJV, since the writing style causes me to THINK, and then write my own interpretations. I had downloaded samples of a lot of Bibles, but was not pleased with the formatting. I downloaded the sample for this version to my PC, and quite liked the tabbed Chapters.I put the Bible and Daily Meditations, Devotions in the same Collection. Then, I can quickly open up that days reading, press Home, Right Click on the Authorized King James Version Holy Bible for Kindle title, Search for Book Name, Click on Chapter, and I am there (I like to read the whole chapter, it puts more meaning into the verse being studied).Highlighting and Notes are a breeze on the Kindle, and can be shared with the kindle.amazon.com page, and the Kindle for PC.After reading the Chapter, I back out of the Bible, and return to the days meditation.Because I've used up my book allowance for the month - I am using 2 study guides: Daily Strength for Daily Needs, very good to inspire my own notes and writing; and Craving God eBook, which can be useful for inspiration, but not as good as the Daily Strength. However, I am quite willing to spend the $1 for this book. For the Money, you can't get better than this. Thanks Christian Miracle Foundation Press.

My Musings
I've started reading the bible many times, but I would always get bogged down and stop reading. This time, I also had the audio to go along with it, so I made it through to the end. It's brought me closer to God, and I became a true fan of many of the profits. As a Christian, I tended to focus mostly on the gospels and acts, but there is so much in the old testament that I had missed. I am so glad I did this. A very grateful reader!
