Decent nailer after some issues resolved
Original review - please see below as I have update and upgraded the review.I bought this to install pine tongue and groove ceiling in my sunroom. Pine is soft so I figured with all the reviews that this nail gun would work good with 2" finishing nails. The first 30 or so nails went well and were counter sunk about 1/8 inch below the surface of the pine. Then things started to go downhill from there. The nail gun got weaker and weaker and now the nails stick out 1/8 to 1/4 inch. I increased the pressure all the way to 120psi and it still will not counter sink the nails. I have to go back and manually countersink about 40 nails and the job is only 1/4 finished. This nail gun started out as a 5 start but quickly sunk to a 1 star. I tested this on some 1/2 oak trim and did not get good results with hard wood. I tested by trying to nail a 1/2 thick of oak trim onto a 2" x 4" pine stud. The nail head stuck out over 1/4 inch. Not enough strength in this nail gun to penetrate even the thinnest hardwood trim.UPDATE 01/23/2017The nail gun is now working fine again. In fact it is working better now than when it was new out of the box. I even hits some knots in the pine and the nail went right through the knot.I don't know why it was having a problem sinking the nails, but I continued to use it and after shooting a few more sticks, it started to sink the nails. I don't have a filter/dryer on my compressor so maybe it was moisture or some contaminant. It could have been a problem with air or maybe even the nails. After it started working strong again, I gave the gun a good dose of oil just to make sure there were no contaminants in the air line.Just about finished the other side of ceiling installing knotty pine and the gun is working great. I guess I was premature in giving this a bad rating and have upgraded my rating to 4 star.

A rugged little tool
I don't do a lot of carpentry work, but this nailer has worked great. For baseboards and other woodworking jobs. I do add a few drops of oil in the it to lube it from time-to-time, but other than that works like a charm. It's not that loud and easy to use.

Good for home use, not professional grade
This gets the job done and within a tight budget. Not every trigger pull will fire a nail but for the price I can overlook this minor issue. Not for professionals but if you are a budget-minded DIYer this is a good buy.

Good for the price, needs a separate compressor
Works well, but you will need to buy a compressor separately. This was my first time using any kind of nail gun so I didn't realize I'd need any additional tools, but it's still a good deal for the price. Installed baseboard trim perfectly!

Awesome nail gun!
I received my nail gun promptly and I was impressed! I had read all the reviews and only found a couple that were negative concerning the gun jamming. So far, I have shot 2 complete magazines full of nails with NO PROBLEMS. I oiled the gun according to directions before and after using and it worked flawlessly.

But for jobs working with hardwoods like oaks, mahogany
The gun is very basic, and for small job using soft wood, it's okay. But for jobs working with hardwoods like oaks, mahogany, bamboo, etc. , it just doesn't have the power to push the nails in. For the price, again, it's average. You get what you paid for.

It has the NO MAR plastic tip with a spare.
I like the gun very much. You can direct the exhaust in 360 direction so it does not hit you in the face. It isn't very loud. I like the loading ability. Over all it is a nice gun for the price!
