Makes the perfect - Eggo sized waffles! I wanted to get away from the store bought, pre-made waffles that are loaded with stuff I no longer wish to have in my diet, but wanted the same size and shape of waffles - so my family wouldn't object as much to 'new' waffles. I was thrilled to see this waffle maker and hoped it would work well - and it does! I have zero complaints or issues with this waffle maker.Very simple to use. Just plug it in and it heats to a preset temp, that is perfect for cooking this size waffle. No hassle trying to find the right temp with a dial, and no dial to get moved by accident. No need for a latch, never needed one on any waffle maker I've owned - the top needs to be able to rise as the waffles puff for a minute anyhow - so not sure why people think this needs a latch?The waffle iron - plates do not come off, so cleaning can be an issue if you get stuff stuck all over the iron. But so far, I've only cooked flour type waffles in this and use a spray on avocado oil and my waffles don't stick. I use a silicone basting brush to spread the spray oil around and to do light cleaning as well - that is a great waffle iron tool! When I'm done cooking and the waffle maker has cooled, I use that same silicone brush to brush the waffle iron and spread any leftover oil, and it also knocks off any crumbs that may be left, then I use a paper towel to wipe around the waffle area to clean those none cooking areas and put the maker away. For one mess I made, where I ended up with over cooked batter in one area, I used a fingernail brush, that I keep at the sink, to brush off the dried on crusty batter and that worked great too.I did try making some egg and cheese waffles, but my daughter didn't like them, so those are off the menu. But they did cook well and didn't leave too big of a mess - if I didn't over fill the spots. I might try adding bacon bits to my savory waffle mix and see where that leads - probably to overeating waffles. LOL

This appliance does not disappoint for Keto Chaffle making. I've had this for an entire 2 days and it's super easy and this appliance is amazing.It doesn't need any recommended oil as the cooked food doesn't stick.Once it's unplugged and it cools all the way down, I take the waffle iron and stand it up like a book next to the kitchen sink. I take a designated adult sized toothbrush and brush the food remains right off the waffle patterns of the iron itself.The remains of food that I brush off with the designated toothbrush are loose pieces of shredded cheese and what nots. Not a big deal.I store the appliance in the box that it arrived in and the size is perfect.

For some reason, I thought the waffles would be smaller. None the less, I am happy with the waffle maker. It’s heats quickly, maintains consistent temperature, and always delivers a good waffle. It’s larger than expected and heavier, but feels very durable. My only complaint is that it doesn’t come with a timer. As a busy mom, sometimes we need a little reminder to check on something! Despite not having a timer, I do love this waffle maker and have been happy with the purchase.

started out with the single mini. took it to work and quickly realized I need at least 4 waffles at a time. I asked and bam I was excited. It works great and cooks just like the mini single just 4 are produced. Its a hit at work. Buy it. Now the handle gets a little hot from the heat but hey easy fix - wear some heat gloves or use tongs when opening. Battle won! Excellent purchase. I recommend this purchase. Its not expensive the colors are cute. Perfect size, just dropped it in my backpack and went on out the door. Wipes clean with damp rag. The plate is not removable but dont let that stop you from this purchase. Ooooh almost forgot the over flow section makes cute waffle sticks.

Wow! I have been making variations with Kodiak pancake mix for a hot minute now and just used this. It’s exceptional! Perfect waffles, perfect size and perfect timing! Not to mention perfect price. I used butter as a non-stick solution and it was so effective. And zero burns! So easy to use!

I was very disappointed when I first opened the box. The top of the waffle maker has a huge crack, front to back. Thought about sending it back for just a minute, but hate the hassle of returning stuff to Amazon.The maker works perfectly though. Now I don’t even care about the crack! Cut my waffle making time by 1/4!!! And the waffles are better than before.I was gifted a Dash mini waffle maker several years ago. My wife and grandkids love my buttermilk waffle recipe, so I make them frequently. A batch of my recipe makes 16-18 mini waffles. It takes 4-5 minutes for each waffle. 16 waffles at 5 minutes each = a lot of minutes cooking waffles! I finished a batch today in under 30.The waffles are delicious and actually a little fluffier than usual! Plus there is no mess. With the single waffle maker, if I put in too much batter, it overflowed and made a mess on the maker and countertop. With this maker, it runs in to a side trough and makes a waffle stick. Genius.This product is well worth the money. My other Dash maker is over 5 years old and still works perfectly. I hope I get that much out of this one.It is lightweight and about the same size as a 4 slice toaster. It will be easy to store. I did not use any cooking oil or spray because the cooking surface is nonstick. I cleaned it up the few crumbs with a paper towel after the grids cooled off.
