Great gel cream
One of my favorite gel creams. A little heavy for day wear but perfect for night time to seal in all my skincare. Wake up looking moisturized.

Good for the price
I like it. Seems to work pretty good in conjunction with other products.

Works concerned about imitations.
This worked well considering the cost and quantity. There are concerns about receiving counterfeits however given that the beauty and supplements are the most prone to imposters on amazon. Attention to detail is a must.

Lives up to the claims
Excellent value for the price; performs as well if not better than pro skincare. A few key points: this is best suited for combination to dry skin because it is moisturizing with a high quantity of hyaluronic acid. This is what also makes it "sticky" so if that is an issue you may not like this. No added fragrance! Sensitive skin folks can celebrate- it's me, I'm sensitive skin folks. In many high end skincare products there is a ton of fragrance which defeats the purpose of whatever the item is designed to treat. If you like Dermalogica Calm Water Gel you'll like this; you can even put it in the fridge for a cooling effect.A dab will do. Overdoing hyaluronic acid will cause additional dryness as it absorbs up to100% of the water or humidity in the air. For less than $20 this is a STEAL. I love Hado Labo in general but this knocks it out of the park.I have no affiliation with the brand so this is my honest take. I do however know about skincare so this isn't an uniformed review. Last but not least if you want to save $ and your complexion Asian skincare products are excellent choices. My particular routine is simple: double cleanse with an oil or balm after using a Japanese brand biphase eye makeup remover, a cleanser like the Asian Curel or Hada Labo, a mild exfoliant as needed (Milky Piggy Hell Pore is fantastic) then the moisturizer. My skin barrier is healthy and I don't have any additional problems with the preceding products.

Worked great a year ago but not anymore
I've been using this moisturizer for a year and I've always loved it. The most recent one I bought is now giving me issues. it absorbs too quickly into my skin but also somehow leaves my skin feeling sticky or tacky. I've been having to reapply a second layer a few minutes after the first or go in with a different product because it's leaving my skin feeling super dry. My nose crease is especially dry and now getting super itchy and flaky. My makeup is also affected. This product used to hydrate and keep my skin moisturized so well under my makeup but now my makeup sitting on top of it is not adhering to my skin and balling up around my pores and just lookingoily. It's not due to the weather because it's been fairly cool where I live so far and I've used this product for at least a year and didn't have problems last summer. I don't know if the formulation changed or something but this product definitely isn't worth the price tag anymore, especially since the price has been fluctatuating between $18 and $22 and is now finally staying at that $4 increase. I'm disappointed between this product used to be so affordable and accessible and didn't trigger a fungal acne rash on my forehead and now the quality has gone downhill.
