Makes walking with a fracture foot easier
This medical show is much more comfortable then the typical post-op shoe you get from the doctor. The sole is slightly rounded which makes walking easier, smoother with less of a limp. I like that it covers my toe completely, especially since I am wearing it in the winter. I wear a 8.5 and ordered a medium, it is a comfortable size with plenty of toe room, the toe box is nice and wide too. Overall, I am happy with this purchase. It makes walking with a fracture foot easier and reduces pain. I can't find anything to complain about.

Saved my foot!
I tripped and fell hard on New Year’s Day. I sprained my foot really bad and possibly broke my little toe. I was not going to the emergency room on New Year’s and spend the whole day there, so I wrapped my foot with an ace bandage and ordered this boot. Amazon got it to me by 7:30 the next morning. Super comfortable, exactly what I needed to stabilize my foot and begin healing. Very impressed with the quality, and comfort, sort of like wearing a big rubber soled slipper. Highly recommend .

Soft, light and comfortable.
Very convenient and adaptable to any foot. It really helps. I appreciate that and it's true to size. It's very comfortable and provides good support with clear instructions. I wish the padding was a bit thicker foot protection because it was my toe that was injured but overall not bad for the price.

BraceAbility Closed Toe Medical Walking Shoe
Like many of the people here, I ended up having to buy a medical boot to allow my foot to heal from an injury. In my case, I broke my pinkie toe. For a month, I thought I could make due on my own without buying any special equipment. I taped it, I babied it, I hobbled around in my winter boots...all was going well until I refractured it. After THAT happened, my husband convinced me to get a proper medical boot. I didn't want one of those big and clunky things that go half way up your calf, so I went searching on Amazon. This bootie was the perfect compromise. This medical bootie is SO easy to put on and wear. It opens completely up, allowing you to put on the bootie without any additional pressure on your injury. The various velcro straps made the bootie very secure on my foot. The size Medium was perfect for my size 7.5 foot. I also tried the small, but my foot was pushing out the front. I did have to borrow one of my husband's thick winter socks to wear inside the boot so my foot didn't twist or slosh in the boot..it kind of helped fill in the space. I could tighten the straps down but my toe was not having the extra pressure, so this was my work around. It is fairly lightweight but protective of the foot. I've accidentally stubbed my foot a few times while wearing this and it definitely protected my foot from any reinjury. I've spent 2 months wearing this bootie.... I went from hobbling around on my heel in it, to finally being able to put some occasionally pressure down, and now I can "walk" while wearing it. This has been a godsend after the refracture, and I wish I had gotten it when I first broke my toe. I've worn it in the rain and in the cold. I've even accidentally fallen asleep while wearing it, and it was still comfortable. It does best on smooth and flat pavement, but I've taken it out for a spin on grassy hills and my backyard. I've been using a cane to help with stability when out in public or getting in/out of my vehicle. I've finally gotten more mobility back and think I'll be out of the bootie fairly soon. I wanted to wait a fair bit before I wrote my review, to make sure it actually helped my injury, but I've been very satisfied with it since I bought it. I've put it through it's paces the past 2 months and it's still holding up fine. Highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone with a toe injury or foot injury. Skip the big bulky boot and get this one instead.

Helps enormously with fractured toes, medical grade boot
I have purchased two of these now for my son who fractured his middle toe. He could not get time off from work and His job requires him to stand the entire time. I was able to get same-day delivery on this boot and he said it helped tremendously with pain and pressure. I would highly recommend this product. The podiatrist that he saw said it was medical grade and he was impressed with the price that I paid for it. My son has a size 12 foot and I purchased the XL. It fits him perfectly in length. The width at the top is adjustable. Not sure how well you can see the strap on the boot in the picture attached, but if you can fix yours that way, it’s easy to pull across and tighten. The first boot I received had the ankle strap completely undone and it was a little difficult to figure out how to make it adjustable. It seems to provide good support, non-slip and the Velcro is super strong. As I noted earlier, the podiatrist was impressed with the product so you should definitely give it a try!

Not comfortable
I had foot surgery and I am trying to transition to a regular shoe with a brace. I bought these as a shoe to wear when I am not in my surgery boot but something to wear like a regular shoe with a brace. I found that this shoe is really wide. Even though my foot is swollen, it was still pretty wide. It also was not comfortable at all. A lot of people said it comfortable, like a slipper, but it didn’t feel like that to me. It feels like walking on a piece of foam. I ended up sending it back and buying crocs. It was a better fit for me.

Adjustable and comfortable.
This product is just what I needed as I recently suffered a small fracture in my 5th metatarsal. For sizing reference, I am have long/thin feet and generally wear size 9.5 (women's) shoes. I purchased this product in both a Medium and a Large. The Medium was too short, but the Large is absolutely perfect. It does not feel too big, as I am wearing both a slim sock and a bulky sock. The shoe's Velcro strap allows for width adjustment. This walking shoe is very comfortable and makes walking significantly easier as I heal.
