Amount - The jars look small, but the amount of shimmer powder you get in them is more than meets the eye. One jar, that I used everyday as eye shadow, lasted for almost a year.Uses - I first bought Bella Pierre products from a tiny stand in a Sacramento shopping mall. They demonstrated how all shimmer powders (and glitters) could be used as shadow, eye liner, lipstick or nail polish. They were not kidding. I have used my powders as all of the above with great success.Shadow - can be used as loose powder (with a nice shadow brush). It lasts all day. No need to re-apply. You can also mix it with a touch of water and turn it into a thicker shadow for evening or even costume wear. The shimmers do work well with the liquid "stay" products that are made for this type of mineral wear make-up. NOTE: You will have "fallen' bits of shimmer powder on your cheeks. Be aware of this and prepare to re-apply some foundation or wipe the cheek clean.Liner - follow the water method or "liquid stay" (a clear or white liquid product that you place under the shimmer to create a wet surface - you can buy this almost anywhere) - just dip the tip of your shadow brush in water, then into a small section of the powder; then outline your eyes as desired. Be careful not to use too much. I often use the back of my hand as a mini artist's palate, as I don't want to get moisture into the shimmer pot.Lipstick - Just put on any clear or semi clear gloss, then using a q-tip or brush add the shimmer. You can play around with mixing the colors together, or mixing them with a glossy lipstick. (I have not tried matte.)Nail Polish - put the shimmer onto a piece of plastic wrap, mix it with clear nail polish and apply to nails. works great.The glitters are wonderful too. I bought two glitter stacks three years ago, and I have only had to replace one color.Color - This color is a bright, but not garish gold. It is very shimmery, but not obtrusive. It is lovely for me and I am VERY pale. I can imagine it would look even better on people with darker skin pigmentation.Price - This is where I almost brought them down by one star. While I believe in paying for good products, Bella Pierre is priced slightly too high, even for as great a product as they make. If they knock a dollar or two off, I would give them a 5 star price review as well.Shipping - Average and reasonable. Packaging was good. My product always arrived in tact and exactly as ordered.

A very light dusting of this powder over your makeup gives you a glow that really brightens up your face. Every time I use it my friends tell me that I look so rested and healthy. Try it!

For the price this is not worth it. It’s a tiny little amount which is hard to get out of the container and it’s too shiny to look natural on the skin. This is a horrible product!

I used to sell Bella Pierre products in the mall a few years ago. I still use these products. I would have a hard time using any other blush or eyeshadow because the colors are so gorgeous and they are organic. The bubble gun color is irredescent and has a slight bluish green tint to it in certain light. I streak it in my hair on days that I need extra attitude.I use a lot of these colors in my hair like 'wild lilac' (which is reddish and a great blush for summer or if you're tan) and Champagne is gorgeous on light brown or blonde hair, because it just sparkles and lightens you're hair up, looking like a natural highlight. I also use that shade to brighten up my eyes, or make my face glow if I feel like I need to.I fell in love with these products from day 1, and they can last for years. I try to elongate their 'shelf life' by tossing them in the freezer to kill any bacteria every few months just in case. I feel like it helps prevent breakouts by doing this. So I was looking for something more like gliter are sparkly more like Margaret dabs body shimmer. BUT this is more like gold face make up to me. Like how you see some wealthy people on the red carpet. Like they almost look golden. Anyway so I put some on my forearm and i went to the pool. i looked at my arm and much to my surprise it actually showed up more sparkly than i imagined. So for the price who cares. I have already ordered another produce in hopes that i will acheive the look that i want. Not a bad item and i would recommend. It just depends on the look that you are looking to achieve.
