I thought this was interesting when I ordered it for myself as an art tool. Ordered a second one for hard to please teen boy who enjoys drawing. We both have used it. Thank goodness for the video that accompanies the listing. Without it, we would have been clueless. It’s a bit difficult to use, but gives a good result once you figure it out. Would not suggest for younger kids or impatient adults…takes practice.

Works as advertised. Well made. Rather small though for average sized drawing. I would have given 5 stars if not for the size. But still great for drawings smaller size art.

Makes cool designs

I saw how this is supposed to work, and I tried it, but could not get the hang of it at all. The instructions are extremely limited and not really too user-friendly.

I use my compass a lot. I draw/paint mandalas and circles are an important part of a mandala. I was pretty interested in this gadget, thinking it may be easier than the old school pointy compass.I received it yesterday and it was well packaged and had some weight to it.Then I tried to review the instructions. This is where it went off the rails. The instructions are on a thin piece of paper in a very light font. The font is also so small that I am not sure there are actual words. This is in a well lit area and i have my glasses on - I should be able to read them. I even tried to take a picture of the words with my phone and use the zoom in to try to read them. Nothing worked. I am not even sure the instructions are in english.So i tried to follow the pictures. The only picture that made sense was the pic of using this tool to open a BOTTLE. Not drawing circles, arches, or anything. But it can apparently be used to open a bottle of whatever you need to calm down after trying to figure what the heck this thing does.All this to say that I was completely unable to draw a perfect circle. I tried all ways I could figure out. I am not a novice nor am I a child. I should be able to open this, read instructions, and make a circle.If you need a bottle opener, you can surely find one that is not in 4 pieces, 2 of which are magnetized, in a box.

Great for drawing circles of different sizes and a wide variety of shapes, but you will need to practice this a bit. Tiny holes, best with fine-line markers.

Comes apart easy when using, circles are way off because it slides around paper

Works so good. I’ve been using the old compasses for years and this is a complete game changer for me. Good quality and worth the money.
