I'm not a fan of spicy cheese. So this is perfect and so yummy!!! We layer it on chips and it makes for perfect nachos 😋 It's definitely finger licking good!!!

イタリア語の「ラグー」とは、肉汁を使ったソース等の意味で使われ、主にミートソース系のことを指すと思うのですが、この商品に肉汁要素は皆無。 そのかわりチーズたっぷり、バターたっぷりのアメリカ味で、いわゆる「マカロニ&チーズ」そのもののテイストを楽しめます。 甘く濃厚で油っこい、子供が好むタイプの風味。間違っても高級だったり深みのある味ではないのですが、ジャンクでチープなうまさがあり、たまーに食べたくなる。 おすすめの食べ方は、ペンネリガーテをアルデンテよりも少し柔らかめに茹で上げ、できるだけ少量のソースで済むように、加減を見ながら和えていくやり方です。 アメリカ人なみにドバッとかけてしまうと、日本人には油っこすぎ、チーズ臭が強すぎると思いますので。 そして間違ってもスパゲッティなど細いロングパスタに使ってはいけない。麺がソースの濃厚さに負けてしまい、食べ進むのが苦痛になります。 Amazon.co.jpにあるマカロニ&チーズは、まずさに定評のあるクラフトの乾燥モノだけだと思っていたので、本品を見つけたのは僕にとってはラッキーでした。 やはりこの商品、素直に「マカロニ&チーズ」と題して売るべきだと思います。その方がきっと売れますよ。 日本にも(僕のように)少数ながらマカロニ&チーズのファンはいるわけですから。 そして本品は間違いなくデブフードなので、食べたらジムに行って消費しましょう!(笑)。

It does taste cheesy. It is thick but also have quite a bit of liquidish texture too. I don't mind that but when I tasted it, I was severely disappointed in my purchase. I hoped that I would like it better with bread, or samosa etc maybe but all it does is ruin the natural taste of them foods. It is a bland sauce with an essence of cheese which is not tasty at all and certainly not healthy as well. Why would someone wanna have this on their dining table, I have no idea. I like normal amount of cheese in my pizzas but this stuff serves no purpose of enhancing foods tastes for me. It is not tasty and I hate it. I don't want to finish it. Mayonnaise seems to have better purpose than this. Sticking foods together, that is. People's likeness for mayonnaise still don't make sense to me but this Ragu Cheesy Double Cheddar Sauce made mayonnaise's purpose of existence sensible to me, a little.
