This mini size siren comes with dual strobe and a powerful 95 dB sound level when activated by security system. The ideal placement for the box is outside in a highly visible location at the front or rear of the protected property to deter intruders.

Loud enough
This has 4 LED lights, which are not very bright (for 180mA you shouldn't expect them to be) and an electronic siren, which is loud enough for most indoor purposes. It doesn't appear to be waterproof, so be careful with outside installations. Operation is simple - connect to +12vdc and ground and it starts making noise and flashing. In my circuit I drive it with one channel of a ULN2003A without issue; no relay required. It will continue to make noise down to 6 or 8v.
