Great food container! We use it for coffee. Sturdy and airtight.

Loved the container, looks good. Wooden spoon cute but really small to use for my purpose of coffee beans, its in the drawer not being used.Sadly the locking device does not work well. It is very loose and will have to use pliers to pinch the "buckle" together.

I love the color. However, the description says it will hold 2.8 pounds, and yet I barely got 2 pounds of ground coffee in it. I bought 2, and got less than 2 pounds of creamer in. So if capacity is important, you mmay have to look elsewhere.

The clamp is loose and often falls apart. I've repeatedly pieced it back together and tried unsuccessfully to bend the problematic piece (the fastener that loops over the top hook) into a shape that would stay. A shame, as the canister is otherwise appealing.

I am using this jar and the red one as storage vessels for my tobacco. Both jars have good seals and work great for this purpose. I use the spoons in separate containers for ground coffee. You can attach a hang tag to the spoon holders to identify the contents of the jar.

Not only is the container beautiful, it's holds 45oz of your coffee. It solved the problem of having to bring down the large coffee can down from the shelf every time we made coffee.
