Quality, grip is essential
I bought this alongside buying the largest 82mm set of the magnetic nds. As my primary lens I use is 72mm. I wanted to get a quality step up ring with the grips as the cheaper ones can get stuck and be a nightmare

Front filter threads not good enough
There's such little thread on the front for attaching your lens filter that the filter can be removed simply by pulling it off gently. This makes me worry the filter will fall off the step ring at any time.

Weak magnet
I have not had any issues with the freewell filters but the adaptor rings have a problem, whereas the magnet of the standard ring that is supplied with the filter is good, the adaptor ring the magnet of very weak and can barely hold the metal lens cap in place. I contacted Freewell and I also sent them a video of tue problem, and they agreed there is an issue but have not provided a solution.I expect this is a problem with all step up adaptor rings in the range as I have bought 2 and both have the same issues
