Nice looking and seem sturdy
My husband was very happy with these. They were just a little difficult to get installed but it didn't take an inordinate amount of time. The package was damaged when they came and seemed like it had been taped up more than once but there was nothing wrong with them. Overall, we are happy with the product, the shipping and the price paid. Would buy again.

Looks good and works well
Install took about 2 hours by myself and fit great on a 2018 Silverado crew cab. They look good and are sturdy enough to hold me at 220 pounds. Four stars because some of the hardware was 1/4" too short so I had to get some and it is a little bouncy if you're over 200 pounds, but overall great value. Time will tell if they rust out or not..

Great quality, looks real nice.
I like the quality of these steps for the price. Really good and I even jumped up and down on the steps to test them out to make sure (a little extra I know) but they hold up great! The install process is fairly fast about an hour each on both sides however the covers for the mounting brackets make it a little difficult to angle your wrench or line up the bolt so a work around I found with that is use a pair of pliers or wire cutter or something like that and basically break or cut the little plastic angles inside the covers (this makes it 10 times easier to angle the bolt and your wrench to tighten). I also had a moment where I only installed 3 of the 4 brackets due to time constraints and I accidentally misplaced one of the mounting brackets that was uninstalled. I contacted customer service and explained the situation and they immediately sent me a set of brackets, covers, screws and the sliders that go underneath the step for free! I thought that was really great considering a regular set of mounting brackets goes for a lot online. So I definitely recommend this product.

Instructions worthless, but sturdy, and looks good,
Came in a nice box packaged securely, and on time. The only thing the instructions are good for is counting the pieces in. After that blow your nose in them and burn them so you can use the ashes in your flower bed or garden. Go to YouTube and search running board installation they seem to be very similar for all. I build cabinets, small sheds, work on my own vehicles so I feel I have some mechanical/building experience under my belt. This simple 1-2 hour "bolt-on" installation took me over 11 hours. If I had a hoist it might have been easier to work on, but there were enough things going on that it would not have made a difference. If you live where there will be corrosion on the underside of your vehicle get the WD-40, wire brush and hole threader because the holes will be full a gunk and need cleaning in order for the bolts to go in. The u-clips they supply have a trick to putting them on that took me about 5 hours to figure out. After you have them on the truck and inserting the bolt, if you squeeze the clip shut a little while screwing the bolt in, it will seat and grip the threads a lot easier. The plastic pieces that cover the brackets go on with the brackets not after. The plastic pieces need to be trimmed a lot. There are some fins on the inside that need to be removed completely, and then you have to pretty much cut the bottom half off. Use a reciprocating saw, the utility knife took way too long. Be sure to tighten all the bolts down to your final torque before putting the boards on. Once the brackets are on and the trim pieces are cut the boards themselves went on fairly easily. Would I buy them again, probably not knowing the installation issues. There has to be better options out there.
