Genuine Nissan Parts - Authentic Catalog Part from The Factory (21200-31U1B)

I had installed an aftermarket thermostat, and I kept dealing with overheating issues fluctuation and the gauge. So I've read some reviews on Amazon. And I decided to make the purchase. Haven't had one single issue with temperature! Everything works like it's designed, it's an amazing and quick fix.

Oem factory part .fit perfectly. Does not come with gaskets. I used felpro gasket

Part came in FedEx bag, in original part box, which was severely crushed. Water tested and found that thermostat opens partially and very slowly at 180 to 190 deg F. Cause to wonder if this part is defective. It looks to be an original Nissan part in original Nissan box (crushed) for my 2006 Infiniti G35 sedan. Liked the option to expedite shipping. No gasket included.

Product works as OEM should. Purchased this to replace a non-OEM brand that was about 1/3 the price. Application was a newly rebuilt 2005 Nissan 4.0L VQ40. Due to heat problems with the non-OEM installed on installation of the engine, I decided to test beforehand. Noted improvement over non-OEM in the pot as well at installed on the engine.Pan test included the original OEM, the non-OEM and the new OEM:OEM:184*F - Began opening190*F - Open to about 1/16"198-200*F - over an 1/8" open205*F - 3/16" or more open. Eg. fully open.OBDII connected to the ECM showed the engine never going over 210*F at 55/65MPHCompared to the non-OEM:184*F - Closed190*F - Closed195*F - Began opening200*F - just over 1/16" open205*F - just over 1/8" open. Eg. not fully open.OBDII connected to the ECM showed the engine live temperature creeping to 220*F at 55/65MPH

Replaced thermostat in 2008 Nissan Frontier. Part was perfect fit, and no issues thus far.

This is a genuine Nissan part that fit perfectly. No gasket is included. I recommend due to tight access during installation to buy a premium gasket. You don't want to redo the job because of a crappy gasket.

Nissans are picky a lot. Get Genuine Nissan Thermostat ONLY!!!Works good so far. No complaints on part. Dont tighten bolts too much it can crack the thermostat housing.Note: this doesnt come with a gasket. But one at parts store for less than $3. Also get RTV(high temp) to seal it properly other wise it will leak (found that out) ALSO replace thermostat temperature sensor when doing this. cheap and easy to do.(if something goes wrong ill update but so far so good been almost 2 weeks or so)

My temperature gauge wasn't going up to normal temperature, so I assumed it was time to replace the thermostat. This is genuine Nissan product and it fixed my problem. Only gripe is it DOES NOT come with a gasket.note: torque bolt to 6ft-lbs
