Case-Mate - Barely There - Case for iPhone 12 Pro Max (5G) - Ultra Slim - 6.7 Inch - Clear

Finally found an excellent quality clear polycarbonate case with an open-bottom so I can dock my iPhone 12 Pro Max on my Lightning Boombox and Lightning Clock Radio without having to remove the case every time I want to use it by the pool or on my nightstand. The only other clear hard case with an open bottom that I could find was the Apple MagSafe case for $50, which is ridiculous (plus it got bad reviews). I literally have searched hundreds of cases online until I ran across this one. I found several that were open on the bottom but they were not transparent. I wanted to see the beautiful blue color of the iPhone, not cover it up. I had a casemate barely there case years ago on my old iPhone 4 and totally forgot they made a case like this. What I don’t understand is there are dozens of open-ended cases for the iPhone 11 Pro Max out there, but only a few for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I realize most people primarily use Bluetooth and WiFi for audio connectivity nowadays (which I use a lot too), but I still like using my portable boombox and clock radio. Hats off to casemate for a wonderful strong sturdy case! And thanks to several folks for answering my questions about this case. Very happy!

Spend your money on an OtterBox case. This case offers no protection.

In the pictures It seems like it was kind of a matte clear case, it’s not. I know this may be my fault but I wanted to share with everyone that dislikes fingerprints on their iPhones about this. Also extremely expensive for what it is.
