There is something soothing and peaceful about a soft orange light. It gives just enough brightness to be able to see easily, but more of a romantic, soothing ambiance.

Gave as a gift. Mother was looking for a softer light in her dressing area for mornings due to lights bothering her eyes. She said the light is great, not too pink, but soft and doesn't bother her eyes with white light.

I’m glad I bought the yellow one, it’s not bright on my kitchen I always leave the lights on at night.

It's a nice green glow, the only thing is that it doesn't actually seem to change brightness when you flick through the brightness clicks on the lamp. There's just one brightness level. Also, I thought it was a 3-click bulb but it's only a 2-click bulb. Not a big deal for me, functions just fine for what I want it for.

To get this effect I used two Sylvania LED Blue light bulbs in the downstairs hallway and one Sylvania LED Blue light bulb upstairs in a Catalina Spotlight.In the upstair windows I used Dazzle Bright Blue Mini String Lights with a electric candle with DORESshop C7 LED Blue Mini Candelabra bulbs (all installed from the inside).On the outside I used Dazzle Bright Blue Christmas Mini String Lights and on the porch I used Weepong Meteor Shower Lights.The outdoor lights were all pluged into existing outdoor porch light fixture with GE Power Gear Polarized Handy Plug 2-Prong Convert Light Bulb to Outlet Socket Adapter so I just have to flip a light switch from indoors to turn on the Christmas lights. I use these in locations around my home for lighting when I am sleeping. The red is nonabrasive and provides a warmth that is not too bright and not too dim for my purposes.

This is a review for the SYLVANIA LED Orange Glass Light Bulb. The bulb itself is an orange color, but when you turn it on it's more of a mellow yellow with a hint of orange-amber. It's definitely not bug-light yellow, and it's definitely not orange, but it is a pleasant ambient color.You'll want to use these with a lamp that has a shade, they are rather distracting and uncomfortable on the eyes to look at directly though aren't bright enough to read by. Perfect with a shade. It's just enough to give a room a warm cozy feel with ambient lighting, great for a bedroom table lamp (soft amber and orange lighting supposedly helps trick the body into producing melatonin for earlier sleep) . The bulb is cool to the touch and at only 4.5 watts won't hurt your electric bill.
