Amazing resource for school counselors
As a school counselor I love to encorporate games in my individual and small group sessions. This set covers so many topics associated with conflict resolution. The Spinning solution game helps kids work on problem solving skills in real world situations. The Are You a Bully game gets kids thinking about what they can do if they see someone bullying someone else or what they can do if they are the victim. It's got some great questions to start discussions and help them to realize they have more power than they may think. Shark, Jellyfish and Turtle give situations in which people handled conflict and kids have to sort them by shark (Created conflict), Jellyfish (Avoids Conflict), and Turtle (Handles Conflict). The Keep Calm Meter is a great tool to do quick check ins with kids. Persuasion Pot is a great game to discuss the importance of they way we react to situations, phrase things, the tone of our voice and how those things have an impact on how others respond to us. The Compromise Burger gives a situation from 2 view points. One is the Top Bun and One is the Bottom. They have to build the hamburger that makes the best compromise in that situation. I have used all of these games as a school counselor and found them to be very helpful and engaging for my kids. I would recommend them.

Good for young learners
Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great for elementary learners who love to play games. Encourages open discussion on different conflict resolution topics/examples and allows them to think of different ways to handle conflict.

Good Tools for Kids
Games are made well. Concepts are applicable and good convo starters. It’s rated for ages 6+, and I’d say it’s about ages 6-9. With an older kid (11), I find it fairly repetitive as you move through the game. Also, once you do the game once or twice, you’ve kinda covered the concept/skill (can view that as good or bad). Still, glad I purchased this as a therapist and will be using it with clients. Can also be a good assessment tool to see how well they catch on to these skills.

Disappointing
Can only really play the games once, maybe twice with same person.

I really love the concept of these games and eagerly bought it for my kids. On trying it, though, it is unfortunately extremely basic so it would be best for maybe 4yo and under, plus it is set up in a way that you can only play most of them once and that's it, which is harsh for a $50 price tag. Hence it would work best for a professional who plans to use it with multiple kids rather than multiple times with the same kids. The box was also damaged when I received it.
