It was sharp. But the durability wasn’t up to par. The blade snapped off in the handle while cutting.

Looks gorgeous and felt perfect in my hands. Used very lightly but one day the tip struck my wooden cutting board and broke off. It wasnt much that broke off but it's very disappointing that after such light usage any piece of this knife would break. The second star is because they did the handle perfectly in my opinion.

I bought this in August for a good friend who works as a sushi chef. It broke a few days ago, so 4 months it lasted? Kinda disappointing for the price.Update. The seller replaced the original purchase as it has a lifetime warranty. Very quickly omce I contacted them. I will update as the knife is used.

Purchased for $150 for everyday heavy use at my sushi bar. It seriously only lasted 6 months on 30 hour work week, and rotating In 3 other knives. BROKE WHILE WASHING midway through my shift. Snapped in half separating the blade from the handle stock while holding it underwater. I treat my knives like they are my children. Upon seeing other reviews, the knife snapped exactly in the same place.I expect a full return. Or send me 5 more…. So I can blow through enough of them to get my moneys worth. The shape, size, weight, design is perfect. Craftsmanship for $150 ???? What a joke.————> Very unhappy customer
