Great mixer !
I’ve been using this mixer for 9 months on a daily basis, I run my own cake business from home and this mixer to so fit for purpose, I use this most days to mix cake mix and to make buttercream and it doesn’t buckle under the pressure. The speed is good with 6 speeds, it’s heavy duty with suckers on the bottom to hold against the worktop. Things I don’t like about this mixer are the splash guard is the splash guard is held by grippers on the side and they are not strong enough to hold on, it constantly keeps falling off so most of the time I don’t use it, You do have to keep scraping down the sides every 20 seconds or so to make sure all the mix is mixed, don’t expect to put this on and everything in the bowl is ixed without you having to scrap down. I’ve had many mixers over the years and I’ve always had to do this so it’s not a problem for me. It does mix well once all the dry and wet ingredients are incorporated but if you are mixing a lot of mix ( I usually mix between 1kg and 2kg of dry mix) it does get up into the top of he mixing tool even though there is a silicone guard. Saying all this the mixer was value for money and it does what I need it to do without paying for a more expensive mixer on the market which I refuse to do. Would I buy it agin ? Yes I would even with it’s few niggles

Trusted Mixer for Daily Baking – Long-Term Use Review
We have been using this stand mixer since 18 June 2024, and as of today (3 May 2026), it has been working reliably without any issues. It has become part of our daily routine at home, especially for baking, and the performance has been consistent over time. Overall, we are very satisfied with the quality and durability of the product, and it has met our expectations well.

Powerful mixer with a large bowl
We bought one of these for mum and after trying it at her's one day, I had to get my own. It's a nice powerful mixer that has coped well with anything either of us have thrown at it, whether that's a normal cake recipe, pastry dough, or even a traybake recipe with things like half a tin of treacle using the all-in-one method. It just powered straight through with no problems. The bowl having two handles is great for mum if she needs to move it with a heavy mix in. Whilst you can tip it out with these horizontal handles one-handed (leaving the other hand free for scraping the bowl), I think a vertical handle would make that a bit easier (but I couldn't find a vertical handled mixer that matched the rest of the specs of this one for a similar price at the time). The "additions" hole in the cover is useful for adding little things like a drop of vanilla essence, or you can just about get an egg through it if you're careful, but it's not soe easy to add things like flour that way. Saying that though, it only takes a moment to stop the machine, lift the top and cover, add the flour, put the top down and start it again. Overall, we've both found this to be a great mixer that has easily handled anything and everything we've thrown at it so far, and are confident that it will continue to do so.

Good for everyday
After looking at lots of stand mixers and not wanting to fork out for a kitchenaid I decided on this! I've been using it for 5 months and it's still working well for me, good power, large bowl and decent suction cups underneath. I'm a pretty frequent baker with a tendency to make things like bread, cakes, meringues and biscuits. I've been able to make everything I need to in it with no issues but I think it would struggle to cope with thick, dense heavy doughs or less dense doughs in large amounts (though copes well with family sized bakes) in which case it is louder and moving around a bit.. almost begging for no more (haha!) but considering its body is plastic and weighing considerably less than one made with metal I think it's to be expected! It's something I can live with though its a good price for such a great stand mixer and I would definitely recommend it.

A bakers friend!
I recently purchased this stand mixer, and it has been a game-changer in my kitchen. Here are my thoughts: The 1500W motor is incredibly robust. It handles everything from light, airy cake batters to dough with ease. The six-speed settings provide the flexibility to adjust the mixing speed to suit different. This mixer excels at creating light, fluffy cakes, thanks to its consistent and thorough mixing. It also handles large dough batches effortlessly, I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the texture and rise of my baked goods since I started using this mixer. The large capacity bowl is a huge plus. It accommodates big batches, which is great for holiday baking or when preparing food for large gatherings. The design is intuitive, and switching between speeds and attachments is straightforward. One of my favorite features is that all parts are dishwasher safe. It makes cleanup incredibly easy, saving me a lot of time and effort. Overall, the Stand Mixer is an excellent investment for any baking enthusiast. Its powerful motor, versatile performance, user-friendly design, and easy cleanup make it a standout appliance in my kitchen. Highly recommended!

Second faulty mixer sent. UPDATE.
After returning my second mixer with the same fault and receiving my money back, Vospeed contacted me and seemed very concerned about what had happened and offered me a mixer for free, which I accepted and received. I now have and am happily using the mixer which is performing exactly as I hoped it would when I first purchased it. Looking back at the reviews it's clear that a bad batch with a common fault had unfortunately found its way onto the market. However the company has, in my case, gone out of their way to rectify the situation so I can only commend them for their actions. OK the mixer hasn't got the finesse of some of the top of the range models but it's value for money is amazing and my experience of their customer service rates them second to none. Thank you Vospeed. ORIGINAL POSTING. I really want to like this mixer, some good reviews and a great price, however having already sent one mixer back with exactly the same problem, it dosent seem that I will get the chance to even evaluate its capabilities, I haven't manage to finish unpacking one yet let alone plug it in. After my experience with the first mixer I could not have been more careful while unpacking this one but just pushing the lever down in order to raise the mixer head to remove the bowl the whole top part sprang up, and looking deeper in the reviews i can see that others have had the same problem. Amazon to their credit were very efficient in dealing with the first one I returned, regarding postage and refund etc and hopefully they will be as accommodating in returning this one. Not too sure if I will go for third time lucky.

Epic fail for me :-( maybe I just got unlucky with the one I got sent…
I really wanted to love this stand mixer! However, having spent far FAR too many hours looking into every mixer on the market. I finally decided on this one based on function, price and reviews..as others have said the price does fluctuate or a voucher offer can pop up, so if you can, keep an eye on first. After holding out for just over a week an offer came up so I quickly ordered, last minute but just in time to make my son’s two tiered cake and 30 cupcakes which, after ordering this, I then happily told him I would do. So the night before his big birthday party… I lovingly unboxed and admired my new shiny, sturdy, lovely looking, soon to be new best kitchen friend and got to work and that’s when I, Miss I want it cheaper and over promising mummy, knew very quickly I really should have tested it when it arrived the day before… after the first attempt of his cakes using this mixer went in the bin. As soon as I started using the mixer, I knew straight away I had a problem! The slightly softened butter for the first cake literally just got spread flat all around the lovely shiny bowl and the mixing arm wouldn’t touch it once spread all over. I just ran with it and chucked in the sugar… nothing! Now facing a very nice spread of flat butter and sugar in the bowl I just chucked the rest of the ingredients in which helped a bit but I had to keep stopping the mixer to shove the ingredients back to the middle to try and mix it! After about half an hour having wrestled with the bowl, mixer blade, cover, mixer unit and super powered sucker feet attached to my worktop to try get to the back of the bowl, I finally Chucked the cakes in the oven ! They cooked in normal time, tasted ok but rock hard and unrisen! Whoops.. in the bin… With the rapidly dwindling hopes of a light and fluffy chocolate and vanilla tiered cake with yummy frosting and perfectly piped fluffy buttercream cupcakes, I had to very quickly rethink the help of this machine. So the next of my 4 mixes I ended up creaming the butter and sugar by hand (not fun) before adding the other ingredients and going back to the mixer. Again, I had to constantly keep stopping the machine to try and mix the creamed butter and sugar which sat untouched at the bottom of the bowl… I soon realised no matter what I tried it was was just going to result in either over mixing some of the cake mix or or under mixing and it was not going to not combine evenly; so I gave up and just mixed by hand, for the rest if the cake mixes. I don’t know why I held out hope that it would maybe work better for the buttercream.. I guess, as I was doing triple quantities, with a mix of more solid dairy free butter equivalents (son has allergies). However when I attempted it, it literally just sat moving its arm around with all of it just stuck the arm…I kept knocking it off and tried chopping it more to separate it but nope straight back to the arm and clumped back together.. after my earlier cake mixing disaster, I can’t believe I actually ended up spreading it flatter round the bowl with a spoon, to stop it from doing it and then… yeap you guessed it.. it wouldn’t touch it again! I couldn’t soften or warm it as it splits the ingredients and they don’t reform like real butter. So again back to the old faithful willpower and swapping hands every 2 second whilst feeling like I was going to pass out out and nearly weeping into the metal stand mixer bowl, whilst also, observing how good quality, heavy and slippy the blighter was whilst trying grip and clamp it to my chest; desperately trying to push through the loss of feeling in my hands, burning arms, chest and back muscles trying to mix just a little air into my not looking so fluffy dairy free cupcake frosting at 3am in the morning hoping to save 2 tons of buttercream along with my sinking hopes of covering either his birthday cake or 30 cupcakes. Oh and any hope of saving any happy clappy yaaaay 7 year olds, wishes do come true and my own happy mummy is winning at life thoughts a mere 4/5 hours earlier. As expected, the dairy free butter split as it warmed up too much, as my arms didn’t have the 1000w power to do it anywhere near quick enough … in the bin it went and I just ended up using flat icing glaze. I don’t think I’ve ever cursed myself so much for getting the little man’s hopes up, without trying the machine first! Lesson learnt. As it happens he loved his cakes regardless and it gave both of my boys endless giggles when mummy was groaning every time she moved her claw like hands and solid stick like arms and wrists for the next week! oh how I cherished everytime I saw them listening to them squealing ahhh show the clawwws, aaaa stick man’s coming .. I know I certainly made memories. If anyone was bored enough to get to the end of this review (like I would have done whilst in my sleep deprived panic trying to decide) I am sorry it was so long…I myself am shocked I actually wrote more than a line or two on my tiny phone keypad that typically I would never do! … clearly I am left with some form of disturbance and I needed to share some form of lingering feelings … Anyway… unlike me .. do remember, test it first, not the night before and don’t over promise…no matter how gorgeous their little puppy dog pleading eyes are :-)

Impastatrice ottima

Great marketing, terrible product
I got easily fooled by the nice description it has, however it has some serious issues: 1) it transfers way too much heat to the dough when making products like french brioche or anything that has more ingredients. I started my dough at 22 and I finished at 31 degrees and of course this caused issues in the dough wrapping around the hook, where temperature should be around 26 degrees. Moreover, it looses grease from the hook/shield that might go directly into the dough, that’s unacceptable. Edit: the hook literally crumbled at low speed without an heavy load.
