Works great. Moved into new house a needed to identify each rooms cable at the splitter. Color tab system eliminated multiple trips in and out of house and allowed for identification on first trip outside. Highly recommend.

I'm on my third one! I'm a residential tech for Internet/TV and this is one of the worse toners I've ever used. The issue is that the barrel on the toner itself can break very easily so don't try to twist it or store in a tool box that's too cramped

Unit arrived broken. Possibly someone else previously returned it, or just due to crappy construction. The F-connector spun freely allowing center connector to break off. I was able to open the case, re-solder connections, and stabilize connector from spinning. Once I repaired it, it worked well, was easy to understand, and allowed me to trace multiple coax runs at once.

Makes my job much easier

I bought this tester to figure out how the satellite connections in my RV were wired. (They we’re all mislabeled.) The instructions are very vague and of no use whatsoever. I finally found a You Tube video that showed exactly how to use it and even where they’d hid the connectors. Thank goodness for You Tube or I would have sent it back without ever having tested the wiring in my RV.

It works and is affordableIt uses the 9v battery so you can replace the battery it detects power supply from receiver's ir any power on the cable and multiple color to map the cablesIt is a little biger that my previous maper bought I like it it looks tof

I only needed this for a single use at home to find the coax from the basement to my office. The device worked as needed.Several issues with the battery not lasting long. It took 2 batteries to test 8 wires. That could get expense if you needed this everyday. When the battery gets low the readings are false.
