Buy these. They work on Porcelain Tile
One bit lasted 5 holes. Previous purchase of "diamond tipped" bits were lucky to do 2. Made install of shower doors quick & easy. Key was to mist with water while drilling. You'll be happy you did

Great drill bits for all types of tile best bang for your buck!
For the price point, there is no better drill bit. As a shower door installer I use tile bits almost every single day. I have used them all, and this is hands down one of the best and most durable. The key is to cool the bit as you drill and "waller" it by moving the drill in a short circular motion. We love these bits and I can't see us switching when other comparable bits cost over $5 a piece.

They work great!
Our guys use them for drilling tile. They work great and last longer than other bits we’ve tried. (Keep them cool)

Very impressed
I have had trouble drilling porcelain tile when installing handicap bars. I have drilled 25 holes with my cordless drill and still using the first bit. 👌

Ok for minor tile drilling work
Ok for minor tile drilling work. One good thing about these bits compared to many others, including Bosch tile drill bits, is that they penetrate the tiles relatively effortlessly. They don't swirl around. In terms of durability, not much different from most others. Not bad, especially given its price.

Will drill about 4 hole per bit in very hard tile
Will buy again when needed

excellent durability
Used to drill holes in tiled shower walls. 5/16 inch thick ceramic subway tile. Drilled total 16 holes. Surprisingly only used one bit and still going strong after 16th hole. Each hole about 10 to15 seconds, no "starting wobble" very smooth. Through tile, cement backer board, until touched stud.

Effective
I used on a very hard ceramic tile. Took me 20 minutes to drill through it with a standard masonry bit. Used this and got through in 30 seconds or so. I drilled 8 holes and used maybe 2-3 different bits. (I also wanted holes with zero chipping so maybe I replaced prematurely and couldve done all with one or two)4 stars since it degrades so quick, but also is still very effective and maybe thats the tradeoff.

Good quality, general purpose concrete bits with decent life... At a cost that won't break the bank!
This review evaluates the “Masonry Drill Bit Set with High-Strength Tungsten Carbide Tips (5-Pack)” made by MGTGBAO.The product was shipped with no excessive or wasteful packaging. What’s in the box: five (5) ¼” hex shank carbide-tipped 5/16” masonry drill bits in one (1) hard plastic case.First impressions: The overall quality of bits seems very good. The drill blank is made from structural steel and is topped with tungsten carbide cutter heads for durability and longevity. The bits fit smoothly in a 1/4” standard drill chuck with no slop or slippage. The bits are ideal for all types of masonry drilling: brick, concrete, ceramic, and clay tile. ProTip: A key element to a clean, easy-to-cut hole as well as ensuring extended drill bit life, ALWAYS use water to cool the bit and help flush out chips. Also, set your drill to its low range and it is essential that you don’t “force” the bit into your work – let the bit do its job by providing even positive pressure. Forcing the bit into the work or using the bit dry will excessively overheat the bit and quickly dull it. I tried these bits on typical small projects such as mounting a mailbox to the side of my friend’s brick house and anchoring a couple of brackets in a concrete wall. The bits performed smoothly and efficiently. They are ideal for drilling small diameter holes up to 3-4 inches deep in normal-grade concrete or more porous materials like brick and cinder blocks. They work great for installing Tapcon screws as well. They are not contractor-grade bits you’d use for harder grades of concrete, for that, you would need SDS hammer drill bits.Since I am evaluating this product as part of the Amazon Vine program, I am limited to a 30-day window to submit a review. To determine drill bit durability and length of life, I intend to monitor this product over the next 12 months. Should anything change over this period, I will update this review accordingly.Cost-effectiveness and value: Overall I am satisfied with the product; it does the job easily and conveniently. Proper care will last quite a few jobs. At a current price of $18.99 plus a 5% off coupon (or $3.61 each), I feel that this product is slightly more expensive than competing products but still fairly priced for the quality and functionality delivered. In reality, at this price, if you use the kit for one or two jobs it has paid for itself. In summary: the Masonry Drill Bit Set with High-Strength Tungsten Carbide Tips (5-Pack)” made by MGTGBAO is well made and does the job easily and conveniently at a fair price. I would recommend this product.Pros 👍:✔ Made from good quality materials.✔ Tungsten carbide cutter heads for durability and longevity.✔ U-groove spiral shank design efficiently clears debris away.✔ Comes in a convenient hard plastic case.✔ Economic price point and great value.Cons👎:✘ None.

Great masonry bits at a great price
I live in an old building and i have been trying to hang pictures on the walls, they are load bearing walls but they seem harder than any concrete walls I have drilled into. Some masonry drill bits I have just wont work, the walls are so hard, so I ordered these and they work like a charm. They are not fast but you can see the progress.I have drilled at least 6 fairly deep holes "3 and I am still on the first bit and its not slowing down yet.You cant beat the price at $2 a drill bit.
