A good product that keeps cut flowers fresh for a long time.
This is great for cut flowers. I always use it in the recommended amount, and it keeps my flowers fresh for a long time. I do change my water every week and trim the stems, and can often baby the flowers into lasting up to 3 weeks. You can also add a small amount of Clorox to your water, because it will kill bacteria that tries to grow. But I would not want to buy fresh flowers without this product.

Wow! Wedding flowers are still going strong over three days later
My daughter's wedding was Saturday evening, and we made the bouquets and memory table floral-ringed lantern that morning. The flowers and greenery were bulk floral purchases from membership big-box stores, and they arrived Tuesday and Wednesday before the wedding. As they arrived, we trimmed the stems and placed them in buckets with water + FloraLife Flower Food Powder according to the directions on the jar. At first the water was cloudy after stirring, but after a few minutes it became clear. The morning of the wedding, we prepared a deep pot with fresh water + FloraLife powder (if you're doing a lot of florals buy a second jar of FloraLife Flower Food powder--we needed two jars; it went fast). We soaked bouquet holders that had wet floral foam centers and 6-inch wet floral foam disks in the pot, one at a time. Before inserting each stem into the soaked foam we dipped them in FloraLife Quick Dip 100 for one second. It was extremely easy to dip the stems as we went along, and there's still plenty of Quick Dip left even after dipping hundreds of stems (you'll probably just need one bottle). After the bouquets and centerpieces were completed, they were sprayed with FloraLife Crowning Glory Solution. They looked pretty wet at first but dried in less than an hour. I suggest spraying Crowning Glory outside or over a protected surface because there is overspray. Even though we did a lot of arrangements, we've still got plenty of Crowning Glory left in the one bottle we bought. We were worried that some of the heavier stems would fall out as the bride and her attendants walked down the aisle, so Oasis Floral Adhesive was applied a few hours before the ceremony. The tube was easy to squeeze and wiggle in the arrangements to where the stems met the wet foam. The glue was clear and a little runny (have a paper towel on hand), but we were able to make quick work of securing the larger flowers in the bride's and bridesmaids' bouquets; the adhesive dried within an hour. Not a flower fell during the entire evening or the days after, so the Oasis Floral Adhesive did it's job.I'm not sure which product or products we owe our phenomenal success to, but wow, it's over three days later and the bridal bouquet, bridesmaid's bouquet, and centerpiece we brought home still look great! They've had nothing else done to them, not even water added to the floral foam; we just have them displayed on tables in the house (see photos). They look as fresh as when we made them over 80 hours ago. Can't overstate how well the products worked for us, and if we had to do it over again, we would confidently get the florals finished the day before the wedding to give us more time for other items on our to-do list the day of the wedding.

Useful product and it works! Flowers last longer.
My flowers have an extended lifespan. Product is easily measured and dissolves easily, especially if you read the directions. So. If you spend $$$ on flowers, you should enjoy them as long as possible.

Take care of your flowers at home
I have used this product before. It is really nice to have the flower vitamins available for cut flowers. It does keep your flowers lasting longer and then you change the water and the flowers are still vibrant you can give them another shot of good stuff.

Really good flower food
This is a great flower food, I cut lots of flowers from my garden during the summer, and this product is an excellent value for keeping them fresh longer. I put my bouquets in the fridge every night and switch out the flower food and water daily, and my roses are lasting 10-12 days before starting to wilt. The presentation was not impressive, my food came unsealed, and the flower food container was quite banged up, but considering the value and the effectiveness, I am not unhappyI believe this works better and lasts longer than the Miracle-Gro competitor product, and it is a much better value.

This floral food blooms flowers rapidly like it's supposed to.
I read a lot of negative reviews about this product so I was hesitant to use it. However, I really needed floral food so I went ahead and bought it. I am so happy I did!So I used this product for my wedding flowers I bought from blooms-by-the-box (amazing diy flowers). One of the steps is to rehydrate your flowers due to being in status for shipping. This flower food worked amazing! They came back to life full and bloomed out perfectly in 24 hours and I used a little more water (about half to a full gallon more) than recommended because you can over feed cut blooms (burn them) which will lead to premature flower death, when in doubt use less food! Also make sure you stir it in extremely well, water should be clear when done stirring if cloudy, add more water (you used too much food). Also very very important your vases and buckets need to be clean!!! Use bleach to clean your vases then rinse very well! Bacteria grows in flower water like crazy even if the vase has sat on the shelf for months it has bacteria in it, clean very well with bleach (I can not stress this enough). If you don't you flowers will die within a day or two no matter what you do. Next, recut stems at a 45 degree angle NOT with scissors! This damages the flower stem and it can't get water if done with scissors because of the way they cut (even super sharp ones), now actual gardening shears are fine, again because of the way they are made. Always cut flowers under running water (it's a pain) bit it stops air from clogging the flower stem cutting off water to the flower, leading to premature death. Lastly, this flower food helps your blooms open up rapidly! Flowers when fully blooming will last a week tops! If you want to slow the blooming process use cold if possible ice water with floral food and store flowers in a dark, cold place (not a good refrigerator) that dries flowers out and also kills them or place arrangement out of direct sun or heat. My full bloomed flowers have lasted a week and are still looking good. I only expect them to last another couple days before they're done. Again, I needed them bloomed out for my wedding so I used warm (never hot) water and the floral food to help with rapid absorbation. Flowers drink warm water faster than cold and the floral food makes them bloom, that's why you add it. It also helps cut down bacteria growth to length the life. If you want you blooms to last longer don't use flower food, just plain clean water, change daily and recut stems daily and flower food on the days they start to be less firm. It should force them to bloom thier last then they are done. Again cut flowers really only last a week blooming beautifully. Hope this helps people understand how to use flower food and what to expect from it. Also garden flowers can react differently to floral food, honestly it's best to just put them in cold water and change it daily recutting stems. Again, just my experience talking.

Seems Effective
Convenient and easy to use. First bouquet with which I’ve used it seems to be lasting quite well.

Love it
Love this product, my vases are small so just put a teaspoon when I change the water daily. Fresh flowers used to last 4 days or so, but since using this they last for a whole week!
