I’m in love…
I thought I would struggle to get to grips with this being of more advanced years. However I found it very easy to set up and use. It programmes itself, mapping the floor as it goes. I have a big house with lots of different floor surfaces and it copes with all of them. It wipes but does not scrub so muddy dog paw marks still need a proper scrub. The only thing that is difficult is that we only have one home station for it and it fill up its dustbin too fast for it to be useful upstairs. So we’re now considering buying another one…. Oh yes, and the dogs love it and follow it around!

Overrated - serious let down
Purchased a cheaper model off Amazon first was so impressed but found app a bit limited assumed spending 3x on the roomba would be way better. Haven’t had a single days trouble free use in just over two weeks where the iRobot worked properly. Continually disconnects from internet - rarely charges properly more often not at all. The support line is a very long wait on hold or for a call back that came hours later when I was at work and unable to take the call - no one replies to emails or messages through help centre. Most days I have spent longer resetting / connecting / trouble shooting than it could possibly take to hoover and mop my own house. Really wanted to love this machine but it’s not fit for purpose and nothing more than a badly working gimick. Perhaps mine is a one off but since getting it out the box it never worked properly - battery is no where near as good as cheaper Amazon alternative hardly ever charges overnight dispite being on top of range dock and brand new out the box. Retuning mine for a refund as quite simply doesn’t work - hugely disappointing considering I’ve seen how great a much cheaper version performs - the better brand and model I have is LARESAR LX Nex robot - it doesn’t refill the mop water but tbh neither did the I robot top of the range £1200 machine - laresar was around £280! So sad to leave this review kept Hoping it was going to suddenly get better but clearly is not going to happen! Massively disappointing and hugely overpriced 😢

Best Robot Vacuum but still not good enough to replace my Henry
It is one of the best robot vacuums but still not good enough to replace traditional vacuum cleaners. Great suction power but everything else is quite mediocor. Alexa integration is quite poor; it doesn't work for cleaning by room function. The only command Alexa would understand is entire space cleaning or sending robot for charging to the base station. My unit won't empty the bin itself, it was perhaps faulty. Although it does have the D shape but I still had to clean the corners myself. The main brushes would jam very often with a few hairs. You would still have to clean the staircase YOURSELF. I wouldn't recommend spending so much money on it. It is a good toy to have but you're much better off in spending a fraction of it on traditional vacuum cleaners if you wanted to have a vacuum cleaner.

Amazing piece of technology
I used to be fairly IT savvy until recent years but technology has left me behind. This robotic hoover has once again shown me that I am getting on in years and technology has left me in a dark tunnel with no light at the end of it! The thought that has gon einto this product and bringing it to market is nothing short of genius. The manufacturer has thought of just about every thing! To get started I would suggest you do at least two mapping runs to get the map of your property, then you can divide the rooms up using the divider option. If like us you have a log burner you can also create "no go zones" which work perfectly. Once we had set up the rooms we then set up a schedule to do different rooms at different times and days. Brilliant! Another cool feature is that it returns home when either its finished, running low on battery (it restarts where it left off when charged) or when it needs to empty its dust bag. I could go in but this hoover is stunning, in both design and intelligence, so if you can afford one, buy it! It's well worth the higher price tag!

Recurring fault in what is supposed to be a high end product
Dipped into the Robot cleaner with relatively high expectations. My suspicions were first aroused when the box arrived and looked like it might already have been unpacked once, which is never a good sign. Followed the (very easy) set up instructions and downloaded the app - so all good to go. Except the app threw up a lid not closed properly error. I played around with it, opened and shut the lid, tried again to no avail. Eventually hit Google to find that any number of people have had the same error. The solution is to press the lid down manually as you start it but that kind of defeats the whole plug and leave too to do its job concept. It is hard to describe how basic this is. The lid closes into position but there are contacts on the lid that have to connect with the base of the unit and they clearly are a millimetre or two out. I also found the mapping function to be a bit random and the machine got lost on each of the four runs it got lost every time. The fact that is a common fault is annoying. The fact that my machine looked to have been opened before and had the fault tends to suggest that they are recycling defective machines hoping new customers will grin and bear it. I thought I'd done my research before buying this machine but the hype around it is not deserved. It is going back and until they fix the problem I'm not getting a new one.

Ich war bei den Bewertungen erst ein wenig skeptisch, ob ich mir den Roboter für diesen Preis hole, habe mich dann aber doch nach langen hin und her dafür entschieden. Und es war eine super Entscheidung! Der Roboter stoßt NICHT mit voller Wucht gegen Möbel wie schon ein paar mal erwähnt. Wir haben Glastüren und auch dort fährt er ganz vorsichtig ran, ca 20cm vor einem Möbelstück wird er langsamer und dann passiert auch nichts! Badvorleger müssen entweder so rutschfest sein das er rüberkommt oder weggenommen werden, finde ich aber nicht schlimm. Bei hohen/ flauschigen Teppichen ist er deutlich langsamer aber schafft auch diese problemlos. Er hat bis jetzt alle Gegenstände am Boden super erkannt und umfahren. Wir haben eine sehr große Wohnung mit über 200qm. Er schafft die ganze Wohnung zu scannen und findet immer zurück, aus Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass nicht jeder staubsaugroboter das schafft. Für die ganze Wohnung braucht er ca 3-5h. Find ich vollkommen in Ordnung. Geräuschpegel ist auch ok, klar ist er nicht leise aber er soll ja auch gut saugen! Optisch in meinen augen auch super schön, falls da jemand Wert drauf legt. Fazit: ich bin begeistert und finde ihn super!

La aspiradora-trapeador una muy buena compra. Precio calidad perfecto. Se desempeña muy bien en espacios pequeños, deja muy limpio los pisos.

I purchased this Roomba and am now in the process of returning it to switch to another brand. Initially, it scanned and cleaned my home, handling both mopping and vacuuming reasonably well. However, be aware that it struggles with climbing thicker carpets, like the ones from IKEA. After just two days, the vacuum lost its connection to the docking station. While it can still dock for charging, it can no longer refill water or empty its dustbin. This makes the dock nearly useless aside from charging—disappointing, especially at this price point. I researched the issue extensively and found no solution. I performed two factory resets, changed my router, switched networks, restarted the system, and even reached out to customer support, but nothing resolved the problem. A quick online search, such as "iRobot Roomba dock not discoverable," reveals that many others face the same issue. Don’t fall into this trap. The product is essentially unusable. If you decide to stick with this brand, opt for a cheaper model with a basic charging station instead. The j9 combo is a waste of space and money. I’m returning mine.

La base est tombée en panne dès la première nuit de recharge. Le robot c'est mis à démarrer tout seul en pleine nuit. J'ai quand même pû utiliser le robot grâce à une base d'un irobot 981. Ce dernier fonctionne assez bien. Il nettoie correctement mais s'encrasse vite et demande beaucoup de nettoyage minutieux à l'endroit de ses brosses. Vu que la base était HS, je ne peux pas jugé cette dernière ni si le robot la reconnaît bien, ça n'a fonctionné qu'une seule fois et c'était pas terrible, il a fallu plusieurs essais. Pas mal de bug au niveau de l'application. La qualité du plastique (tout est en plastique,même le faux bois sur la base) fait vraiment basse qualité. Mon vieux 981 fait plus costaud à côté. Ne vaut clairement pas son prix d'origine à plus de 1000€ ! Après un petit temps d'essais je décide de demander une réparation. Et bien après plusieurs mois d'attente, je suis assez déçu d'avoir dû relancer le service client tout ça pour me dire que ce n'est pas réparable ni échangeable... Les stocks sont pourtant bien là... Bref, passé votre chemin, pour ce prix on trouve bien mieux ailleurs...

Bueno primeramente quiero indicar que era nuestro primer robot y también muy necesitado por problemas físicos, por ello, muy ilusionados; se realizó un esfuerzo económico intentando buscar ante todo CALIDAD... Como positivo y antes qué nada ¡CHAPÓ! para el personal de Irobot, tanto para el servicio técnico, como para el de atención al cliente, y ahí les dejo la estrella. También, aprovecho para darle un tirón de orejas a Amazon, un desastre total, que venden el ser cliente "Prime" como el no va más y el paquete se retraso varios días más de la cuenta, con el trastorno que eso me ocasionó al estar solo en casa (apenas salí, solo esperando) claro, que ya he dejado de serlo. Compré el modelo combo J9+ de Irobot, aspirador y friegasuelos que estaba en oferta con un 45%, de su precio normal, que ronda la considerable suma de 1.399 € (qué ya es una pasta) y con la oferta se quedaba en 799 €, con un ahorro de 600 €. Cuando al fin llega, muy bien embalado y con muy buena presencia, observo que no carga el agua de la base, se introduce en ella un par de veces y se vuelve a salir sin cargar, el mapeo posteriormente lo resuelve bien, aunque cabe destacar (no sé si será normal) los fuertes golpes contra los zócalos de las paredes etc. posteriormente realiza la tarea de limpieza en dos ocasiones correctamente (cargándolo yo de agua claro) después y estando más de dos horas inactivo en la base, el solo se activa, sale de la base comienza a dar vueltas delante de ella se introduce y sale en múltiples ocasiones y termino por apagarlo y devolverlo. Aunque peque de mal pensado, mi opinión sobre las ofertas importantes es que sé ofertan productos defectuosos que han sido previamente reparados y se ofrecen nuevamente como nuevos. Actualmente y por necesidad, he comprado otro de otra marca por el mismo precio 799 € pero este sin oferta y también en Amazon, (sin prime) lo tengo ya varios días y hasta ahora un verdadero lujo, una pasada, en casa muy contentos (dentro de unas semanas escribiré la correspondiente reseña) Saludos.
