Sivitec 2 m 3 Gang Extension Lead Switch

I have one power socket behind the sofa which is difficult to reach. I wanted to run 3 lights from it, but not have to always reach behind the sofa for the switch, or leave the lights always switched on. This extension lead was just what I was after, as I can leave the lead plugged in at the wall, but remain control with the individual switches.Initially I had an issue with the red lights on the individual switches not lighting up when the power was on. However that seems to have sorted itself out, and the lights now illuminate as expected.

1Star for the incorrect description: For anyone who this matters to, the cable now comes out from the right, not the left as per the photograph. I wish I'd read the most recent reviews as I bought this because the photo shows the cable coming from the left. Returned as this is not different to the one I wanted to replace it with. Sorry, I'm unable to give a product review as I haven't even taken it out of the plastic bag.

Somewhat disappointed, as I specifically ordered this extension as the picture on Amazon Website clearly shows the lead on the left, which is what I ideally needed. Product is not as advertised, as item delivered had the lead on the right. Otherwise would have had 5 stars.

It is in proper working order and has sorted out the items I needed it for. I like having the on off switch for each plug. It is the perfect size for what I needed it for. What more can you say about an extension lead really. It works, I am satisfied, and the seller was easy to work with.

Perfect for what I was after - just needed a small extension lead for my heated laundry airer and dehumidifier on a timer plug. very happy that you can turn either one off.UPDATE: over three years later, this is still going strong after daily use.

I received this yesterday and, before even plugging it in, am extremely disappointed. There is no 'Sivitec' branding, which makes me wonder if this is a fake. I bought it specifically because, in the picture, it has a left hand cable entry and I wanted a left hand cable entry so that the cable was hidden behind a cabin bed. This has a right hand cable entry, so I will have to fix it with the sockets upside down!This is rubbish.

Out of the three gang extension, only two work, I now have a two gang extension, it's a load of rubbish, I would have given no stars but with no stars I would have been unable to write this review.

Just OK I bought this to switch XMAS Tree indoor lights.The connection between plug and socket is not good. Needs to be jiggled around to make connection. Maybe I got a faulty one.
