There is little scent and I felt little effect on skin or muscle, the water didn't really even feel different. What a waste of money.

This is a great product to help you when you are sore after a good work out, helps ease the soreness. Especially for those of us that are starry to age.

They have decent ingredients and seem to be about as effective as my normal Epsom salt baths. For the price, I was expecting a large bath bomb that would be fragrant and a real experience. It seems like it was pretty basic.The small balls come in packaging that is very difficult to open. After struggling with it for a minute, I just dropped the whole thing in the bath and that actually helped a lot as the water got through the holes I had made and allowed me to get my fingers in and it was easier to open after that.At the current price of $16, I can't say these are worth the money. Even for the price of $12.99 which they sell direct on their website I don't think they are worth the price.I also feel like the product description left a bit to be desired, it doesn't show a picture of the actual product and the "Award Winning" actually shows a picture of an award for the company and not the product. I feel like it is a little misleading.Overall, I don't see the hype of "Punch Gunk Recovery Bath Bomb for Athletes. Award Winning Recovery. 2 Bomb Pack" and would not order them again.

I love relaxing at the end of a long day, and one of my favorite ways to aid in this is by using a bath bomb. I was especially excited to find one that is marketed toward reducing muscle tension and promoting overall relaxation.There are two bath bombs in each box, and they are individually packaged. They are a little hard to unwrap, so unfortunately, I deteriorated a little bit of the bath bomb as I unwrapped it. It also took digging deep with my nails. Once unwrapped, though, I dropped it into the bath. It didn't necessarily fizz, but it did create a nice effect as it dissolved. I did notice that I felt less relaxed and achy during and after the bath. It has a bit of a scent to it, but it is pleasant and not overpowering.I do wish the bath bombs were a little bigger, as they are definitely on the small end from what I've tried in the past. I also think they are a bit expensive for what they're worth. It was a good experience overall using them, though, so I am pleased. I am undecided whether or not I will purchase these again. It might be good for a once and a while treat after a long physical day.

These Punch Gunk sounded awesome - muscle recovery and soothing is a huge part of what I enjoy about baths. Unfortunately I didn't find them to do much - except leave a powdery film on my bathtub AND residue floating in the water and clinging to my skin...They smell nice enough - nothing too strong or identifiable, just a soothing light scent. They crumble when you unwrap them, but that happens a lot and doesn't bother me. The bomb dissolved well at first, bubbling into the water nicely. But I rather quickly noticed that there seemed to be flaky floating bits swarming around the dissolving bomb, and those bits never dissolved. They clung to the water and my skin, and left a film around the water line after emptying the tub.Without a noticeable improvement in how my muscles or skin felt afterwards, that residue was too big a negative for me - I won't be ordering these again...

I am far from "athlete", but I pack a lot of stress in my shoulders and hoped that Punch Gunk Recovery Bath Bombs would help relax the tension. They did. :)I liked that they are made in the USA with natural ingredients and - unlike a lot of other bath bombs - do not contain coconut oil. We're on a septic system and were told to never use products containing coconut oil because it turns solid at temps below 75 degrees and may cause damage to pipes/septic system.These bombs were safe to use. :)They do not have any colorings, so will not stain your tub or skin either! The box contains two bombs, each shrinkwrapped in plastic. The plastic is hard to open, and the bomb inside is soft and is falling apart - sort of like wet chalk. It dissolved in hot water quickly, but not completely: it left white slippery flakes floating on the surface. The bomb had a faint medicinal scent - barely noticeable and not unpleasant.I have sensitive skin and did not experience any irritation or dryness after 20 minutes (12+ minutes is recommended by the manufacturer). I did feel more relaxed after the bath.

So my husband is not big into working out, but being in law enforcement and cooped up in his patrol car for hours on end, he gets restless legs. In fact, he has pretty terrible restless leg syndrome and we've tried all kinds of different creams, balms, massages, tonics, and vitamins to make it go away. While some things help a bit, nothing ever really cures it.These bath bombs, while they did not magically cure his restless legs, did seem to help relax him significantly in the tub, and thus made his legs feel much much better for the night. I'm not sure if the ingredients were the cause of that, or if perhaps he just felt extra relaxed after having a nice hot bath.Bath bomb wise, they smell great, don't leave any weird funky film on the side of your tub, and break down completely. He was very happy with the results, and thus they get 5 stars. Definitely worth trying out to see if they help whatever ailment you are experiencing!
