If you are going to study or are studying trigonometry, absolutely buy this book.
I’m a 68 y/o man, retired, who was never very fluent using trig identities, much to my detriment in integral calculus. I’ve got several trig books and tried self-study multiple times since calculus but nada. Then I saw a review of this book by The Math Sorcerer on YouTube and picked up a copy based on his recommendation combined with the very reasonable cost.I received this book y’day, opened it with curiosity and was immediately captivated. The writing is clear and concise and provides the motivation to understand why a particular subject is important. I’ve studied they Pythagorean Identities many times but just browsing the chapter made “the light come on for me.” I immediately grabbed a sheet of paper and started following his explanation and examples, then immediately started doing chapter exercises. Browsing through the rest of this book I see the light come on for me chapter after chapter.I spent hundreds of hours flailing about in university mathematics, struggling, failing and wasting my time. I would have understood so much more if I had this book when I was a teenager in school.Buy this book! I see the author has many other books available. The geometry proofs book is next!

Another excellent book by Chris McMullen!

Practice, practice, practice
Trig, like all other branches of mathematics is learned by repeated practice, and the series of instructive books by Chris McMullen make you learn throught repetition. I have found that even students who are very good at calculus have large gaps in their trig knowledge, and this is a excellent resource to plug those gaps. This is probably because trig is typically introduced on a 'need to know' basis, and must students do not have a thorough formal trig background.

Excellent review text AND study aid.
Got this for Christmas. Excellent for review of things long forgotten AND the practice problems are great. I had this on my Kindle but got the hardcopy because I prefer the hardcopy format for my math books. I have other books by this author, Chris McMullen, and they are all mostly good to excellent. If you are just starting out in Trig this will be a great help. If you, like me, are reviewing stuff for the heck of it this book will not disappoint. Many thanks to the author.

A Good Review of the Trig Identities
It has been many years since I took HS Trigonometry. The author did a good job of showing how these identities come about. I didn't recall my teacher taking this approach. I look forward to finishing the rest of this book and other such review materials from this author.
