Seriously, I have fat fingers and most gaming chits are misery. These are a quality of life improvement for any gamer. Using them for my Gloomhaven: Jaws of the Lion playthrough, but I have several other games where these will come in handy. In my other life, I'm a tool guy, and always tell folks, buy the right tool, you can't have enough tools, right tool for the job saves you in the long run. In boardgaming, I feel the same way. Invest in yourself! and in your hobby! Having those upgrades whether this, chits, coins, storage, etc... it's always worth it to you. It's an investment in a better gaming experience.

These make our gameplay so much quicker and easier than trying to manage dozens of tiny HP chits, and HP can be managed by any player instead of whoever has the monster stats. We also use them for summons, NPCs or anything else that can take damage.You can also fit a status token in the stands to indicate which enemies are strengthened, poisoned, etc. You can fit two status effects but they won't be as secure and might slip out, but hopefully if you're racking up status effects you'll get the enemy off the map sooner than later.Some older reviews mention the dials spinning too freely but it seems this has been fixed; you can move enemies around holding only the cardboard and we've never had a problem with the dial moving. The numbers are easy to read and the stands themselves have a decent weight and no rough edges. And perhaps most importantly they take up very little extra room in the box!

The stands are great for tracking the HP of the monsters and really sped up the game. It is a tad difficult to tell where exactly the pointer is showing if you aren't exact with your adjustments, but it's not a big deal in the long run.

Very handy for the game. But we do sometimes find ourselves wishing at least a couple of them were scaled for more HP.But you'll be mostly satisfied!

This tremendously improved game flow for Gloomhaven. The base stand fits perfectly for each movement space. This removes having to use the monster cards to track health and statuses. No idea why rpg games don’t include these already.

We use these instead of included token holders for Gloomhaven. There are occasional monsters that have more health than these count, but still very useful. They also have condition token holders, which adds to their value.

My group used the wooden bases that you build yourself while playing Jaws of the Lion. I decided to pick these up when we started our Frosthaven campaign, and they’re so much easier to use.Snug standees, smooth dials, great value, and very visible. Highly recommend, just ordered a second box!

Ordered these last night with one day shipping on an impulse. I didn't really have any expectations other than they sounded like a cool idea. We're playing a test game with them currently and everyone is loving them. They really do speed up the game play. I'm using one with my familiar too and that seems confusing (because of same color) but still great. All in all, a very good impulse purchase.
