Simple but Chic
We had IKEA silverware and replaced them with some silverware we bought about a year ago at Target. The handles of the spooks and the forks started bending along with the fork tongs, so it was time for replacements. We decided to buy 2 packs of these they were a decent price plus it looked as if they would slightly match the serving set were ordering by Gourmet Basics as well. These utensils are very durable, they look nice useable for everyday dining and special occasions. I am extremely happy with this purchase and I would recommend them to anyone. I will let you know that the spoons are a bit on the larger side as are the forks too they do seam to be a little larger than the previous flatware we have used. It is a 5 star in my book when I compare the durability, size, strength, look compared to other similar items.

Classic pattern at a great price
What an unbelievable deal on Mikasa flatware. Washes easily and the classic pattern matches well with my tableware. I haven't had any spotting issues as some have noted, I do hand wash and air dry. I shopped around, not sure how you could beat the price for this quality of stainless flatware. Arrived very quickly as well.

You can't go wrong with MIKASA!!!
I was a bit reluctant on making these purchases because some of the reviews, but I considered the fact that they are MIKASA and made the purchase and I am proud that I did. They are quite durable and attractive for 18/0. While I respect another person's opinion, I highly recommend either the Lunea Frost or the Blossom. In fact, the Blossom is so attractive, and with a shine that is radiant, I would probably use the Blossom for special occasions and the Lunea Frost for every day casual matters. While I have 18/10 flatware for upscale occasions, there is absolutely nothing wrong with either set.

This is low-grade Mikasa-ware made in China. It is fine, but thin, flexible, and bendable. Clunky-large, scratches easily. China
This is low-grade Mikasa-ware made in China. It is fine, but thin, flexible, and bendable. The size is clunky-large, and should be reduced in size for the general public. On the other hand, this is a great sized spoon for big-mouthed people who like generous scoops and pokes...

The look is great but the weight is light.
I liked the look and size of the dinnerware but it is very lightweight. I wish it had some weight so my kids wouldn't mistake them for plastic ware.

High quality, light weight utensils!
These are amazing! Very high quality and way lighter than I thought they would be. This is a plus for me because I do not like heavy utensils. The spoons are a bit big for my liking though. Because of this, I tend to use the teaspoon as a regular spoon and the big spoon as my serving spoon. So, in the end, it works out great.
