Clearview Triangle 10 Inch 60 Degree Acrylic Quilt Ruler by Alicia's Attic

I am about to start a 3D tumbling block quilt and this was on the youtube video. This triangle is the correct angle that I needed for the angle on the blocks. And I will never need another one. Now to start cutting the material which is the part I hate the most. Can't sew what isn't cut unfortunately.

Notice that this ruler is numbered so that if you are cutting from a (for example) 3.5" strip, you will get a triangle with a pointed top that finishes to 2.75" tall. Many (other) kaleidoscope and triangle rulers have you cut triangles with a blunted top, that finish to 1/2" shorter than the unfinished height of the strip (so in my example, you'd expect to get triangles that finish to 3" tall).You can of course move the ruler up by 1/4" to get the other behavior - I don't think this is a flaw, just a design decision.

Perfect - it did exactly what I needed using strips at 9-3/4"; so much easier to use this ruler than having to keep twisting and adjusting your regular ruler everyday ruler you use for cutting. Was great!!! Glad I took the advise from a friend and just broke down and purchased one. I had a WHOLE quilt that was all 'triangles' and it made the cutting so much easier. :)

Worked exactly as I was hoping it would. This ruler came highly recommended by our quilting teacher. After taking the class I could see why. You can see the markings very well and the markings are in just the right spot at the time you need them.

i bought this ruler so i could attempt to make a 3D block....havent given it a try yet but plan to...if not this ruler will work on other projects as well...it was a good find been looking for one for awhile now

I purchased this product because I enrolled in a quilting class; and it was a recommended item for the class supply list. I have no prior quilting experience. It was a useful tool for the class project and easy to use. Arrived as stated and the packaging was more than adequate.

This ruler is good. Very clear lines. Packaging is different than pictured, but the ruler is great.

I used this to make tumbling blocks from Marci's book and it was essential for following the instructions in her book.
