Peppermint & Spearmint

Ok so wen I learnt of this truth paste via a nurse she leading me in a full detox i purposed to buy some, I ordered the peppermint an winter green it was nasty the taste was vile no hint of peppermint just a vile bitterness, I returned it to Amazon, I had this peppermint spearmint with charcole jar in my basket I asked the nurse which one did she use or find the best she daid the spearmint peppermint with charcole she said it detoxes your mouth so I ordered it yesterday it arrived today, I have just used it for the first time and what a difference in taste texture, no Nast taste no bitterness at all my teeth really do feel clean and fresh, one review said it’s messy and stains her sink but I have to say my sink is still nice and white so don’t be put of by the review that says it stains it hasn’t stained mine this will be my regular truth paste from now on

I don't usually write reviews but this toothpaste is bloody brilliant. For years I've had no end of problems with toothpaste being to harsh tasting disgusting leaving a horrible coating in your mouth, making my gums bleed ( I have a soft bamboo toothbrush so no I do not brush too hard ) Eating or drinking usually is impossible straight after brushing your teeth because everything tastes vile! The sheer thought of brushing my teeth used to make me cringe. Toothpaste case caused my teeth to become over sensitive to everything! This stuff is BRILLIANT I no longer have any of the above! I can eat again my teeth feel clean without any horrible side affects. No more bleeding gums no more pain. Yes it is messy but I don't care its soo worth it! Trust me if you suffer like I have or worse just try it for the price you really can't complain, it lasts ages. I'm not sure about whitening I've only been using it a week or so, but it's amazing stuff I'm not going back. Oh and make sure you rinse your mouth properly afterwards so you don't have any grey marks on your tongue 😜 (small price to pay for the benefits) xxx

Great natural toothpaste with good quality ingredients

I love this toothpaste, from the point of view of cleaning my teeth and feeling fresh. However, the charcoal formulation means that when I spit, I get grey blobs all over my bathroom basin. Normally I would be able to rinse them off quite quickly, but I have found I need to clean the basin with a cloth each time I brush my teeth. it's not a deal breaker, but I won't buy this variety of toothpaste again.

You don’t need as much as you think , it’s less messy if you use the right ‘pea sized’ amount. It really does make your teeth cleaner, I have sensitive teeth and this is great. Not gritty and teeth feel clean as well as look it. The taste is good too , I don’t like the ‘chemically ‘ taste of most toothpastes - this is much better.

I can't give a full proper review as yet, I have only used it twice so presently I will only submit 3 stars. I bought this due to wanting to try a toothpaste that was fluoride free. The taste is not very pepperminty, even though you can smell it in the jar and it does not throth like normal toothpaste. The consistency is more of a watery solution that forms in your mouth. The taste is not unpleasant, it is hard to explain the taste but It is palatable. Obviously with it having charcoal the paste is grey, so when brushing your teeth the solution is grey and can be a bit messy. I can't comment yet on the effectiveness till I have used it a bit longer, to see if it improves my receding gums. After brushing my teeth did feel clean which is a good starting point.

Amazing love it. Someone recommended this to me and I’m so glad I tried it. It’s a bit messy but my gums and sensitivity have gone! And it definitely makes teeth look whiter and brighter couldn’t recommend this tooth paste enough. No nastys

I have been trying to go plastic-free, so when I saw this toothpaste I thought I'd give it a try, as it's reasonably priced, I can make use of the little glass jar when it's empty. Initially, I wasn't keen on the flavour, it seemed to leave my mouth tasting odd, and I was feeling thirsty, but a quick drink of water and those sensations disappeared. After using the Charcoal Truthpaste for about a week I started to like the taste, and it became apparent that my mouth and teeth were feeling better and fresher. I am almost at the end of the first jar and I am probably going to go for the Peppermint & Spearmint Original rather than the Charcoal version because I have a white sink, and it's frustrating that my sink it smeared grey, no matter how many times I clean it after brushing my teeth. I would definitely recommend this, but a note of caution if you do have a white sink.
