Make your friends made at nostalgia
My husband and I bought this game to try it out. Simon is an older game from my generation and not as familiar for my husband and his friends. Playing this game was such much fun. Get the pattern right and Simon tells you waht to do. There are 3 pawns in this game verses the original that has 4. My husband's friend got so made at the game he did want to play anymore, but ended up winning the game. Game is good for all ages 7 & up.

The Game is Fun. Simon is a Jerk Though.
This game would’ve easily gotten 5/5 if Simon wasn’t such a jerk. When you get the pattern wrong he says things like “FAIL” or “SERIOUSLY!?”and makes other comments that honestly if he was an actual live person, he’d probably get checked real quick. My 5 year old quickly realized the comments Simon was making were an example of being a bad sport. I just didn’t like how it made my child feel less than or not enough when he forgot the pattern. (And it’s not that he wasn’t good at the game - he’s fricken great but it’s the point that I can see it being extremely frustrating for any child who is learning to be put down.) I am all about encouraging and uplifting children and Simon definitely did not. I took this opportunity as a learning experience for him to show that not everyone will be kind and sometimes you have to know how to deal with those people.Just thought I’d give a heads up to parents to be prepared to have some conversations with your kids about being good sports and how to be resilient in times when others are jerks.
